Re: Happy new year! Happy 2004!
What does 2004 mean? It means 2003 is finally done, and '04 can't help but be better. Yep, that makes today a good day already. Oh and what else does '04 mean? It means I'm one year closer to graduation!! Woohoo!!
Happy New Years everyone! Have a good day. |
Re: Happy new year! Happy 2004!
2004 basically spells the end of high school for me, and of course the beginning of university a few months later. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif
I wish you all a happy new year, and even a delighting and fulfilling 2004 while I am at it. *Smirks* |

It would be a cedilla, this little and pointless thing "ç". But I am under the impression you don't quite believe me Slynky. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif (Granted, I don't think any intellignce agency employs somewhat young agents, so it would destroy my cover as a spy. I will think of something to solve this paradox.)

Re: Happy new year! Happy 2004!
Why, the answer seems pretty obvious. There are in fact two spies, and I am not the real one. My job is to pose as an agent spying on France so that the other intelligence agencies will know *we* have planted a spy in France as a few clues will be given. Once *they* are convinced I am the one they are after, the other spy will be able to work with much greater odds of success while the Agency will extract me from my current location. So I am providing my fellow agent some sort of cover to perform his/her own work, and I am merely a diVersion. Therefore you are in fact working for *us Slynky, and *we* ask you to relay the information to all involved parties. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
Actually your objections can be easily dispelled. If you were to listen to my English , you would realize I am no native speaker, as I am not too fluent and my pronunciation is wildly inaccurate. Besides, my skills are rather poor in your view, so why the CIA would have bothered to send a novice agent in the field? That does seem to be quite a mistake. And Lastly, any agent working in France should know the French are not renowned for their ability to speak English, and had better forget their mother tongue while working. It must even be written in the CIA World Handbook in case someone was to forget this basic rule. So if I were a spy, I would have chosen a much better cover. Thus we can safely assume I am either not a spy, or not a talented one at the very least. Good luck with finding out the truth Slynky, even if I still believe I only told verities. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif |
Re: Happy new year! Happy 2004!
I am more confused than ever!
Which means I am either stupid or you are a genius. Reverse psychology or double-reverse psychology? I am at my wit's end. But, if you are working for the CIA, I shouldn't pursue this discussion. On the other hand, if you are a double agent working for the CIA, then I should expose you. It's so confusing! Best I can think of is for you and me to team up against 2 other people and let's see. With you as my partner...remember I said I'd play with you in any game...I shall finally find out the truth! So, invite Geo and a friend of his choice and let's see once and for all http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif |
Re: Happy new year! Happy 2004!
Happy New Year all, may the best of everything happen in your lives.
That and may SE5 show the world that turn based 4X games still rule the world http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif (and that Malfador/Shrapnel can put out a game that will kick any big company's posterior.) |
Re: Happy new year! Happy 2004!
Well, I was merely explaining the question of "whether I am the spy or not, and why". Granted, it was a most weird and wicked usage of logic, but it was logic nonetheless. Or so I think.
The main question is, why would I lie to you? I have no reason to do so, save for the ones you are making out of nothing. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif But I agree to your proposal, even though I do not quite see how it will help you to find the truth in this complicated affair. Hopefully Geoschmo will not choose Asmala nor Rex, as you will have a quite weak ally. You should always watch out for him, as he is a threat and more dangerous for you than for the Other Side. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif |
Re: Happy new year! Happy 2004!
I have learned my lesson to not get involved in team games with Slynky. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif But if you all get your teams together and need someone to host it I am willing.

Re: Happy new year! Happy 2004!
Well, I mentioned Geo 'cause he is uaually available and always a good sport. (but he can usually find a really bad ally to help out... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/shock.gif ) After all, no one wants to play with me... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif
So...no Geo. OK, then me and Alneyan against whom? |
Re: Happy new year! Happy 2004!
