DOGA Users

I had to re-install DOGA due to a HDD crash. While I can view already made models fine and part I call up to make a new model with is black and textures do not show up on it. What did I mess up to cause this?

Your texture locations have changed. You simply have to re-aquire them. I have to do it all the time.

Edit the texture and see if you can find the new location.

You can also simply give them new textures as well.

Re: DOGA Users

Create a new texture then. Do not try editing the old ones.

Re: DOGA Users

If that does not work, go ask Todd Z. at the Doga English site forum. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Well, I got it to work by re-doing the desk-top shortcut http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif Using the old folder on the second HDD.

Re: DOGA Users

I downloaded L1. Is that all I will need or would L2 supply better quality?. It says you have to pay for L2 or 3 to render actual animations, which is not necessary as long as you can make mere pictures.

Re: DOGA Users

You will want L3 with the additional parts which are a seperate download. Visit their american site and ask Todd Z for help in the forum.

Good luck and happy ship making. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Re: DOGA Users

Is this seperate download on the american site you mention?. There doesn't appear to be a link to an american site. What you say would indicate I must download L3, then download extra parts.

Re: DOGA Users

Ok, I uploaded them onto SJ's server some time back, this should make things quicker.

taichis 2

This goes into the C:/programfiles/DoGACGA/Common folder. When in DoGA you'll have to go to 'Add Part From..' and then go to where the folder is to select your parts

DoGA Parts

This one should be the actual parts folder, you place it into the C:/programfiles/DoGACGA/Common folder.

DoGA Parts 2

This one goes into the catelogue folder since this should be the image pictures you see when you go to select a part.

Thanks GM, and NICE avatar. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

I have known many GMLocutus's over the years. By any chance are you, or have you been involved in any of these Star Trek Forums? TOP/OPN/STGN/TGN/TSTR/STBB/FF?

Re: DOGA Users

Also look in the sticky Important Stuff at the top of the forum page. Look at the bottom of the first post. There should be a link to the download site if it is still functional.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">The answer is no, I'm not a big fan on tv shows being in the SE universe (even though i revamped the Battlestar Galactica shipset..someone had to do it)

I'm the person who tries to annoy Fyron on his IRC channel..and makes (in my totally biased opinion) great shipsets.

Re: DOGA Users

On the DoGA English website there should be a link thats takes you to a forum..i can't remember where on that forum but there's a load of links that are parts for downloads..I never put them on SJ's server because I only liked the Taichis 2 file.
