Pyron Ship Set

Is there any races out with this name. I checked the SOTASY and found none.

The set is a pyrimid (sp) style race that I have had on my computer for sometime. Originally was designed for someone, although I cannot recall who, and was not designed as a Stargate set.

If name is not used then I claim it.
Also I would like to get this set hosted if possible. Along with all of my sets.

Re: Pyron Ship Set

Oops, I forgot to post a link to see the set.

The Pyron

I should note that I do not have a back story for this set yet nor can it be downloaded.

(If you click on the download Me you will most likely end up downloading one of CNC's ship sets.)

If any one is interested in writing a back story for this set, please let me know. I would appreciate the help.

Colony ship mini does not display.

This might make a nice magic race in Adamant. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Ya I have to rename it to get it to show. And if you want the set for Amod, go for it. It is not neo though.

Whoa, that shipset its awesome.

The only thing that was not that impressive was the troops, the rest got A+.

Great carriers! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

And great fighters!

Re: Pyron Ship Set

cool. Looks crystalline to me. I prefer the warships to the carriers. Very nice designs.

Very nice! Looking at those ships I get a real sense of their massive sizes, as I think in terms of the pyramids of Egypt when I see those pyramids. The dreadnought is like a pyramid-city in space. The sandy-tan texture perfectly gives the impression of heavy stone construction. A very alien-looking and impressive ship set. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Thanks. Now all I have to do is come up with a good back story for them.

Desc; The Pyron are a race of beings who at one point were nomadic and settled upon many worlds for short periods of time leaving massive stone pyrimids as the only proof that they once visited a planet.

Bio: The Pyron are a race that prefer dry arid hydrogen planets but can exsist on any planet do to the design of their environmental suits. These suits give the Pyron the appearance of being machines, however it is beleived that they are more insect like.

Soc: The Pyron are a hive collective working simular to the way Ants and Bee's work on Earth. It is known that the Pyron are lead by a Queen who in turns directs the underling leaders in how best to control the Pyron Populations

Gen Hist: The Pyron were once a race of nomadic being following the collaps of their home systems star. For eons they roamed the galaxy moving from one world to another. Planets they lived often still have remants of the great stone pyrmids. The Pyron are an aggressive species that carry a grudge and are hostile to just about any one they come in contact with.

Don't look at me, my brainy go mushy around 12:30.

Try asking why they would do something, how they would do something and in what manner?

You should make the ships orange and call them the "Pylon". http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Well there's a stargate Goa'uld shipset that's been around for a long time whose ships look like piramids.
But it doesn't resemble At's cool shiset so much.

Re: Pyron Ship Set

Ohh, I get it now.

I've been asking myself why this shipset its so cool, and I finally got the answer.

The thing is, that when we see pyramids our subconcious automatically relate what we see to what we know, that is, the Great Pyramid, so when we see this shipset our brain see it as something very big, despite not having a reference point, because of the previous knowledge that is enbedded in our minds about this kind of object.

Re: Pyron Ship Set

No offense... But the first look i took at the shipset i thought to myself if it is a modified Goa'uld shipset... They do resemble one another quite a lot http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif *IMHO*

Nice shipset AT.

hmmm,.. pyramid shaped ships, I wonder if this indicates a species that uses 'Base-4' math.

"Ensign, 4-bit that planet and prepare to colonize." http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif

LOL, sorry I couldn't resist.

Cheers! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif
