Before this Cardie can even sit down and poor himself a drink; a tall, lanky big eared, and comical stanger approaches and inquires wether or not this Cardassian is true to his peoples' cause or if he is a traitor. He replies only with an empty stare and continues on to find himself an empty table.

While a lot of people we're fleeing the bar because of the Kazon threat http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif , a large figure in a dark cloak enters the room.
He takes a seat in the middle of the bar (OOC: all the nice dark corners are already taken http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif )and looks around silently.

Inn-keeper: Everone, the Kazon are stopping, a small shuttle is leaving the main ship, orbiting this planet. I expect it to arrive at the next port in about 2 hours earth time.

The dark figure now remembers why he hate it to sit in the middle of an bar. Because the Hirogen and the mouse are constantly running circles around his table.
The Hirogen cursing and the little mouse yelling: "get me, get me if you can"

And the dark figures thinks that it is a pity that cats aren't allowed in this bar.

Re: QUARK\'S (Star Trek : Quadrant of Conflict)

The mysterious Cardassian takes note of the behavior of his previous encounter and poors himself a glass. "Ahh, to be young and without the burdens of what history offers", he thinks to himself. He instantenously reflects on his early days, when he was a mere boy old enough to enter a pub and order himself a Cardassian Fish Ale.

"It was a great yet terrible time for the Cardassians. The planet was stripped of most of it resources and times were tough for almost everyone. The Cardassian Golden Age was clearly over and soon the Military took control of the floundering rule.

I remember as an art student daydreaming of the day that my name would become great amongst the many. Then I remember the day that what I thought was passionate, was merely a fluttering echo as I saw my family turn away from me for not supporting the new conservative thinking way of life.

The next thing I knew I was on my own, completely. My family unable and unwanting to support me, and with no hope for success in such a depressed time for the Cardassian people, I myself looked for other answers. With no experience other than art which would get me no where during these times, I had no choice other than to join the military if I was to earn a mere living.

So I entered the next phase in my life that changed everything.

During my initial Military training I learned the importance of what it is to be a Cardassian Soldier in the New Era of Cardassia. By New Era of Cardassia I refer to the what would become the greatest period of Cardassian times as it is the time that we are ushered into the Space.

At around the 2400, military scientists interested in the moon of Cardassia Prime for potential resourse mining, discovered an ancient space vessel buried beneath the surface. A space vessel on the moon of Cardassia Prime. How long has it been there, where did it come from, how advanced was it? Questions all asked by the newly formed Cardassian Central Command.

With a science team and colonization effort on the moon of Cardassia, the questions were soon answered. It was a vessel of pre-warp design utilizing solar sails for propulsion. With simple yet advanced design, scientist speculated that the origin of this vessel must have been close in proximity of the Cardassia Star for it would take many years for a vessel with this capabiltiy to traverse the depths of space.

Could it have been from one of the other planets of the Cardassian System which also recently have been discovered to be habitiable?

Ahh these were exciting times for being a new recruit in the Cardassian Union Acadamy, so young, yet it seems as though there are so many new things to experience and the people of Cardassia are finally embracing on the new Military Union. The Union that will promise defense against any "new" outside opposition and an end to the turmoil of what was old Cardassia."

Lost in his memories the Cardassian continues to stare into an empty void while holding his full freshly poored glass of Alderbaran Whiskey.

Breen sits quietly and sharpens his knife. The Cardassian is a most appealing target.. "Perhaps later," he thinks as he continues to run the lazer sharpener over the blade of his Bre'Tol.

"A fine target indeed."

One of the view screens on the bar suddenly comes to life and starts with some special
report. Immediately A lot of people start gathering around the screen, when a Bolian
starts talking:

" Today, at 00:00 hours. The Free Bolian Republic has stepped into an new era and future.
An era that will bring the people of Bolarus more than only economical and cultural progress,
but above all new pride and new goals. Goals on Bolarus and goals in deepspace, Pride for Bolarus
and pride for our new society. A society which is formed with an new and very close and reliable
ally. As from this moment, the Free Bolian Republic is a part of a greater whole, As from this
moment it's part of the Romulan Star Empire. "
