Renegade's avatar looks spinning to me. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Also, the avatars of Atrocities and Parabolize are moving, too.

I'm using Internet Explorer 5.5

Re: (OT) Moving Avatars

Both Mozilla and the Proxomitron have the option of stopping GIF animation at one frame. That stops annoying adverts, but it does strip the fun out of this forum. Did you turn that function on?

'Course, when I shut off Javascript and Java in Mozilla, I lose all avatars, icon, etc. from these forums. Oh well.

Go to Mozilla.org & download Thunderbird & Foxfire. They're free & work great. I've been trying to get my clients to try to switch. Helps to avoid being hit my MS's exploited holes.

The firefox browser includes very good and easy to configure annoy-stoppers like popup blockers and blocking of unrequested windows. And it does not spy on you.
The thunderbird email client is safer than outhouse, and has integrated one of the best spam filters availabe.

Only problems I ever had with one of them were on websites specifically programmed for IE's non-standard features.
