Hello, All

I just uploaded my first pic to Renderosity.com So jump on over and take a peek in their gallery. (if you have toruble finding it due to the overwhelming number of images, go to the Bryce/Sea-Undersea section and it should be near the top.)

I would aprieciate any votes and comments. Thanks.

P.S. The pic might remind you of an upcomming game, nudge, nudge, wink, wink, know what I mean? Although this 'colony' uses the ocean as a perfect shield against 'energy' weapons.

Sorry, I didn't know that you had to register to see the pic. But it's free and there is a ton of great stuff there so I would encourage eveyone to register.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">can't you set 0,0,0 as the transparent color? then treat the image and put back the white (turn off transparency)? It doesn't sound like a big problem. there are ways to do that in prety much any program. I haven't used gimp, but I would expect that you could at least turn white pixels transparent.

Oh well, if at first you don't succeed, try try again.

P.S. the treatments you talk about are a cinch in Artgem. Too bad it's no longer available.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">With Bryce 5 and a little immagination. The aquatic plants and dolphins were free models from 3dcafe.com. The hardest part is getting the lighting and volumetric water to work togeather.

David, how about a link somewhere closer to your pic then the front page? I don't see any sort of bryce or undersea listed anywhere. But I am not familier with this site at all.

Edit: Ok, found it. Had to register with their site, and then you go to the Bryce Community and then look for the Sea/Undersea genera.

it wants me to register and I'm too lazy to do that so I'll just look at the thumbnail pic. I think the dolphin is cool, but should have an SEV tatoo on one of its fins to make it oh so much cooler.
