What\'s the status on the latest patch?
 

Is it going to be ready by the end of this month? I'm waiting for it before I start a new game,but I'm itching to start a new game.

Besides limits on mines,what else might be changed? Anyone know?

Aaron mailed me it would be due "later this month". No words on what's included, besides what Richard already posted earlier.

When it's ready. That's all that can be said! If we keep finding bugs then new revisions of the beta have to be produced. Software design is not a science, there is no way to predict how long it will take to accomplish something.

In a recent e-mail from Aaron (this morning) he indicated that testing on the current beta patch was proceeding and that a new patch is expected to be released at the beginning of next month.

No have not heard from jpinard at all. We tried to contact him (via e-mail) prior to putting out Mod Pack 1.00, no luck. I saw that he was sick, so I hope he is ok. I tried for a couple of hours to duplicate a range/index error and I could not. The saved game definetely had it and it seemed like it was triggered by one of the Darlok's colonizers being too full to accept additional cargo?? Anyway, I am still trying to figure this one out. It would be helpful if anybody else encounters this error to let me know what type of game you are playing and send me a savegame if you can. This will help me pin-point where the error is occurring. Thanks.
