I always play alone with AI only 42% (8)
I sometime play with a friend 26% (5)
I play most of the time in multi players 26% (5)

yes I agree that some questions could have been enhanced, but we gather interesting infos nonetheless.

What is funny is that the answer 'i least 18 races' was intended as a pun, as there is 'only' 17 nations in doms II http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

The MP/SP trend confirm a previous poll where there is roughly 50% of players doing MP. I think its a big number, compared to many games.

That does seem like a high proportion of MP players, but I'm not surprised. The game is really awesome for MP.

Interesting thing about my preferred maps is that I used to play a lot on largest maps, and as the time went on I play more and more on small-medium ones. Not typical for me. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/confused.gif

Does 36% 18+ AI's mean that people do not take the vote seriously or that people are trying to implicate that they want more nations in the game?

I myself prefer the SP, but this not means that I wont play multi.

I have people waiting for a Halfling Nation, and a Dragon Nation, and a Werewolf Nation, things like that. It might end up just being a bunch of provinces with pre-selected commanders, magics, items, sites. Or maybe a complete rewrite of one of the less used nations.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Ive done a couple (for myself, I really should post them) where Ive given Man ownership of provinces all over the map, then removed their god and special units. They became a PAIN (Paramilitary Alliance of Independent Nations)
or maybe (Parliament of Atheistic Independent Nations). On others Ive used Pangaea or Jotunheim. Ermor is overdone I think as a theme subject.

For the Were's I was thinking of some race that can have the ***** Queen as a pretender (just Man?) then having them start with the thing that gives free Call of the Wild, alot of those lycanthropy amulets, multiple provinces with packs of werewolves already there that have high XP. I havent looked at which sites but at least some that give lots of nature gems. If I used a race such as Jotunheim then maybe give each province a ***** Queen. Give them labs but no castles.

what is your prefered size (I'm speaking of maps...) ?
the bigger the better, lets smoke doms II engine 24% (6)

Do you like them (the maps) full of specials ?
all provinces should be fully scripted 28% (7)

when you do the thing (playing a map), how many is too much for you to handle?
at least 18 races, so I play rarely you see 40% (10)

The ***** Queen is available for other nations as well. I can't remember all of them right now, but I know I've also played with her as the god of Vanheim.
