Cool Bloodhunting Idea
 
I would love to see a new unit (possibly a blood summonable demon) or an existing unit (maybe vampire lords/counts) given the ability to Blood Hunt while stealthed. It would be great fun to sneak into enemy provinces and start gathering innocents right underneath their noses (I imagine the Vampire Queen sneaking into bedrooms late at night and snatching children from their cribs. hmmmm ... kind of sick. I hope my mother doesn't read this thread). Obviously this would cause unrest and "ill omens". Any thoughts?

Possibly not as warped as the idea that sprung into my head the other night about a blood-school combat spell for ripping a victim's heart out and turning him into a blood slave (possibly worth more than a normal one, but one that would die at the end of battle if not expended). Think "Temple of Doom".

I'd like to see blood have a "Dispel Magic" variety of battlefield spell. A very small (possibly even 1 unit) area of effect that tries to dispel the units enchantments (barring blessings). Since Blood has so few combat spells and required blood slave usage. But I think that is a pipe dream.

That sounds interseting Zen. How about an area of effect blood spell that *lowers* the MR of units? Blood Rain or something. I don't know of any spells that do that.

Perhaps introduce a couple of combat spells where the casting cost is not slaves but selfinflicted damage (Drain own blood).

A good artifact would be "Pocket Lab", acting as a full lab (but only for the holder) in the current province. Then you could upload the slaves easily=)

A lot of blood summons are ineffective because they require high blood levels, or at least level 2, to summon a measly single unit. What if there were MESSY SUMMONS? Meaning any blood mage could do a summon 1 level above his reach, at a cost of 50% more slaves... or else, any blood mage could do a summon with double the effects, for triple the slaves. Then, things like Bind Spine Demon, Bind Devil, and Bind Fiend might become practical... and level-1 blood mages might find a use beyond hunting!

There are several items which increase blood power, and empowering from Blood 1 to Blood 2 is cheap - in each case, it's essentially a matter of spending a bit more blood to increase your capacity to summon, which is about the same thing. Which shows your suggestion wouldn't be unbalancing, but I don't think it's really needed, since you can already turn a blood-1 mage into a blood-2 mage pretty easily with extra blood. I'd say the demons you mentioned are worth the time and blood - they are quite capable, especially once you get a group of them together.

should be a pocked dungeon..
and the stealthy one should catch some vigorous men to perform the evil cross-breed, i think its better than use poor virgins.
