Re: Review at the Wargamer
OK so when are we going to be able to buy stock?
|
Re: Review at the Wargamer
Illwinter is not set up in a way that allows it to release stocks, and their is little or no benefit in switching corporate form.

Re: Review at the Wargamer
Thanks to their holiday gift guide, back during the holidays, i stumbled upon Dominions 2 http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/shock.gif . Who would have thought there is more to life than Panzers and Pincer movements http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif .

Lightsabers and the Force, in KOTOR. Sniping, in Call of Duty & Deus Ex. Oh, and of course ... Mass mayhem, in Dominions! [ February 12, 2004, 19:46: Message edited by: Arryn ] |
Re: Review at the Wargamer
'suppose you could mod in a JagdTiger (prot-35+ at least on superstructure, and the ludicrous 128mm/L55 would probably do well against, say, Black Templars http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif ) but you'd still get nailed by the armor-negating attacks.

Re: Review at the Wargamer
The guys over at Wargammer are some serious grognards. I thought the review was spot on. Congrats to Illwinter!

Since then going back to the page doesn't even generate the ad... Maybe try it again, although you don't really need to see the review since I know you already like the game http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif |

You could probably just outwait it if you wanted. |
Re: Review at the Wargamer
In the bottom right there is a little icon that says "Wargamer" on a little globe. Click that and it will bypass the ad.

Re: Review at the Wargamer
I had first refused to accept their cookies, and my browser is set to permanently refuse them after that, by default.
This loser site is apparently unable to load unless you enable cookies - just to bypass their add. Even clicking on the little "wargamer" globe wouldn't work. |
Re: Review at the Wargamer
The wargamer is a pretty good and well respected web site.
(However, they didn't use to open with advertisements. Annoying.) |

Nothing very intrusive, and the cookies are harmless. |
Re: Review at the Wargamer
I didn't even get a cookie notice with that link... it loaded the ad fine, but nothing else. Clicking on the little wargamer link just took me right back to the ad. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif
