Mosehansen Game: SixManAran *FULL*
 
Hi,

I started a new game on Mosehansen. I'm finding that the big 12-15 man games take very long to finish, so I starting SixManAran to get a faster paced game going.

If you are interested in a six person free for all on Aran, post what race you want to play and head over to port 2217 to claim it.

No house rules: anything goes. Just post in the thread if you plan to go AI or are having any kind of problems keeping up with the pace. I hope to get at least 2 turns a day, so if you are going on vacation or something soon please don't join.

Settings: Default richness and research. Rare events, Magic 50 and Indie 6

doesn't richness 2 mean rich?

can't think of a good pretender for c'tis, so I'll take marignon again.

pls give us a heads-up in advance as to when you want to have it start.

edit: nah, you're right - normal richness.

ps. are you sure you don't want a "no-VQ" house rule?

Is there a reason that this game is stopped? Four of us have submitted our turns, but now the status is 'stopped.'

Seems like there were too many games running on his server, so Mose stopped a bunch of them.

Hey cool it's running. Even though it says "stopped" on the page you can still connect and take your turns. Let's not let the game die ok?

This seems to be a Victory Point game? I can't make out what the VP settings as displayed by mosehansen mean - perhaps someone can enlighten me? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

I think I just put VP6 but for VP needed to win I left blank. So there's VP on the map but they aren't a victory condition I hope. I didn't know what to put in the VP spot :\

I'm sorry to do this, especially this early in the game, but I'm going to be unable to continue in any of my network games for the next several weeks. (My grandmother went into the hospital the other day, and I will be staying with family quite a bit for a while.)

In any case, you can set my position to AI, or have somebody take it over. The password for Man is '1421'

What shall we do with this Sergex? Hosting will be limited to 1/24h forced host unless we solve it.

If anyone's interested: We are in turn 13/14 DLuke is playing Man, he has suffered a couple stales these past 2 turns missed, but is not under attack nor does he seem to have suffered any serious set-back, so his position is definitely far from desperate.

If anyone wants to consider jumping in:

Otherwise I believe we should ask some 3rd party to turn the nation AI, so that at least she defends herself.

Ok, thanks Maltrease for taking him over. It's always preferrable to have a human playing than the AI.

However, Cohen has gone AI in the game, so that leaves us 4 original players plus Maltrease. I have no idea why he went AI, but oh well. The game should get interesting soon.

Cohen went AI in another game? He's making this into an annoying habit. (He goes to war with someone over who is going to get independent provinces. Ruins their economy by romping his way to besieging the capitol with 10 or 12 fireball casters. Then goes AI immediately after the siege is broken, killing over half his fireballers while an obviously neglected border has also been attacked by someone else.) Seems like he likes to pee in the pool and then go home.

No problem. I'm just getting into Multiplayer after messing around with single player and lurking around this forum the Last few months.

I’m looking forward to the game… and of course to my eventual victory*.

I didn't realize Ulm was AI until after I took my turn. Mildly sucks after spending 10 minutes crafting an elaborate message about my Wyrm eating some bad mushrooms... leading to the devouring of the entire leadership council and then an odd form of amnesia.


*in a battle… such as one vs an independent province.
