Well, its been brewing for a while but its finally time for the Primitive one to retire from PBW. Nothing wrong with SEIV, but I find my new addiction to Internet Poker taking all my available gametime.

These are the games where the Horde is looking for a new Master:

Return to Hell II: An epic game with the potential to see the biggest battles ever in SEIV. Wanna se how a 1000 vs. 1000 Baseship battle unfolds ? This is your chance. The Horde are in an excellent position with the buildup almost done (including 15+ ringworlds built), and almost ready to release their fury on the universe.

Menzoberrazan - Menace of the drow elfs: Several races have been forced to band together to stem the tide of the megaevil Drow elves (Semi-AI controlled empire that was given a huge head start). The Horde are hard pressed but are able to handle the Drow fleets, although not without the loss of a few to many planets. Hopefully the other races will be able to counterattack and relieve the pressure before the Horde crumbles. Some excellent RP in this game too.

Pairs: Like to blow up things ?
This is your chance. A game of Epic proportions entering its final stages.

Grudgematch of Doom: Apologies to Slynky and Lord Chane. Dunno if this game will carry on with me leaving and Alneyans problems, but if it continues; the Horde is in an excellent position.

Any seminoob or medium advanced player should be able to do well with these empires. I’ll be happy to offer advice (and even some tutoring if wanted) on how to best (IMHO) utilise the strength of the empires. If anybody is interested, please PM me or send an e-mail.

As for my Poker career:
Anyone who does well in SEIV can do well in Poker. Question is how well http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/smirk.gif. It takes a lot of patience and a lot of studying, but things are progressing better than anticipated. Still a long way to go though. My initial investment is back in the bank and I have a solid roll of pokermoney to play with.

Pacific Poker: Easy soft games and some nice tournaments. Won one and placed second twice in 5 or 10 $ tournaments (100 - 300 entrants) there Last week. Up about 600 bucks.

Paradise Poker: Tighter Ring games. Also run some nice tournaments and my local group use this site for private games. Up $ 250.-

Party Poker: Worlds biggest site. Run huge tournaments with several thousand entrants. Down a bit.

Using sweet mod 3.1.14 of course ( when it is released )

My major problem now is that their are 4 games that i am in that are in the 100 to 250 turn range.

They take up a lot of time.

So I have figured out that i cannot afford to take on anymore games out of my current commitments.

But I am smart enough to know that 1 more big game will be really good with a good group of players.

I am very sorry to see you go. Now, understand, my people are rejoicing the horde is leaving, but I am sad.

I would be willing to take over the Mes..Drow battle for you if you still need someone.
