Quadrants of Conflict Poll: Dominion Smell
The Klingon High command has ordered its Warrior Analysis teams to address a matter that has piqued the curiosity of it's members. The genesis of this project ocurred when the Chancellor was hunting on the Great Plains of Qo'Nos with his twelve sons, and one of the Gu'tok beasts they were riding stepped into a steaming pile of garlak dung. Later, the question arose about this incident. The youngest son asked a question that seemed silly to the Chancellor at the time: 'Chancellor, do the parasites on the rump of the galaxy known as the Dominion smell more like garlak dung or dogwolf vomit?'
The Chancellor laughed, and then ordered his ten year-old son to go off into the wilderness on his own to survive for two weeks as punishment for wasting his breath mentioning those-who-are-better-known-as-chihuahua-sucklings. But then, he got to thinking. This might be an interesting question to answer, for, in the future when the chihuahua-sucklings are ground beneath the unstoppable might of the Klingon empire, Klingon scientists would want to know how to best put up with the stench that follows the sucklings at every turn. Hence, a study was commissioned. Part of this study is to take into account the beliefs of other races. Therefore, the Klingon High command has decided to present this sub-space poll. The question is this: What do those who suck at the teats of the swamp-worms of regula nine, otherwise known as the Dominion - spits on ground - smell like? A. Garlak dung, especially when it is worm infested with worms satiated on dog vomit B. Rotted intestines of the jem-hadar after they have been run to death while fleeing from Klingon war parties C. The well known pit of abominable stench in the great muck of Tribble Prime I D. Sheliak vomit, after a meal of leech-infested dirt |

The Breen have cast their vote.

Re: Quadrants of Conflict Poll: Dominion Smell
Ah, truly the Breen are a well-spoken race!

Re: Quadrants of Conflict Poll: Dominion Smell
The Kazon have cast their vote, too. Then i guess our vote only counts half http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif We need to grow...in order to make the borg pay...

Re: Quadrants of Conflict Poll: Dominion Smell
And a fine choice the Kazon people have made!

Re: Quadrants of Conflict Poll: Dominion Smell
Fluidic Imperium refrained from casting their vote, because the concepts of "dung" and "vommit" are unknown for our science. Instead, we have put Dominions to our "To Banish" list. Right after The Abominable Borg Gang.
We are considering the possibility to include Klingon Empire in this list too. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...ies/tongue.gif |
Re: Quadrants of Conflict Poll: Dominion Smell
The Dominion Order would like the Klingon Empire to know that their foolish and ill-considered public display of their idiocy shall be repaid in full, with the blood of Klingon cretins.
Our goal thus far has been expansion, but now we dedicate ourselves to the destruction and enslavement of the Klingon people. No effort shall be spared to ruin the "might" of the Klingons. Your puny efforts will cause the galaxy to laugh for millenia to come. |

Scene from the Klingon High Chambers:
Enter stage left, small, meek looking Klingon male, with a bunch of holotablets and datadiscs. Lackey: "Your holy eminence, the WAG-DOG <aside: Warrior Analysis Group, District Offices-General> has , uh, asked that I come to you to let you see the results of our analysis....um, we feel it may have been, um, detrimental to our overall efforts to have made a public poll, for, we, uh, appear to have, er, infuriated those-who-shall-not-be-mentioned to the point where they may, er, seek out our outlying colonies in an effort to destroy them..." Chancellor Kirala: "Dog! How dare you speak to me like that! Chancellor whips out disruptor pistol, incinerates Lackey. Other lackeys scurry away. End of scene one. Quote:
