Just when you thought it was safe to go back...

To the Restaurant...warning the following is NOT for the feint of heart or weak of stomach. (especially the later).

This Irish girl I keep in touch with via e-mail just found out that a local restaurant she visited once or twice a week hired a chronic masturbator....unfortunately it was the head chef and he did it into the food he prepaired, ALL of the food he prepared.

As she put it he was caught "wanking into his food"!

I nearly puked when I first read that but for some reason I also found the urge to post to post it somewhere, don't ask me why.

I don't know if she's sueing but I sure as heck would!

What a weird stories you read!
If I were a victim of such incident, I'd castrate this bastard and there is an end to it.

ALL of the food he prepared? Do you know how many meals a chef at a successful restaurant needs to prepare every day? Either this restaurant is very slow, in which case I wonder how it made enough money to pay him a decent wage, or this guy is legendary pornstar material.

Yeah, I heard a similar story on FARK.com. Its where I get all my news these days. A chef was adding to the custard in that most unpleasant way. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...ies/tongue.gif

Eating out is always based on trust. Quality of ingredients, proper preparation, no adulteration by waiter, etc. But then, the same applies to the supermarket -- I worked there during high school, and could tell you some unpleasant stories.

I'm always very polite to the waiter and maiter'd. If there's a problem, I can descretely let them know -- after I've paid.

Too many people cop the 'tude that they're in some way superior to the food service workers. And lord over them like some medival tyrant. Pretty low class behavior if you ask me.

You seem to have completely missed the point of my post. Why did you bother to quote it? You should have replied directly to the original post.

Umm, how to post without violating the rules.......

Ok, Reverse the letters second and Last words.

"You kcoc juggling thunder tnuc! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif Very funny one liners in this movie.

I agree, from all viewpoints. My friend pointed out to a cashier in a KFC that there was water leaking from the roof, and I don't know what happened, but some woman screamed at him. In the end, he left a pop container on the table for someone to pick up. When I asked him, he said something like "the faster they realize the place is sh*t, the faster they'll get out of there". I just shook my head. And the thing is, he worked at McDonalds through High School, so I would have thought he would have more sympathy for fast food workers.

I worked at a Wendy's for 4 months and couldn't take the Sh!t anymore, I mean people screamed at me when their food wasn't made right (note I was a cashier not a food prep), they'd yell at me when their dumb bratty kids made a mess.

They made me clean the mens room after someone took a giant piss under the sink (Yeah SINK not like they missed the toilet they friggin pissed a pool UNDER THE SINK)

And I had coworkers who's only goal in the day was getting enough money to get high after work and I got sick of them trying to ask me for money.

Generally I have the utmost sympathy for food service workers now http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

I was gonna link to the Fark discussion, but the mods over there appear to have purged the story. As I recall, the people over there had the same opinion as you ... how could he produce the volume implied, therefore story is a probable hoax.

And don't mind the random off topic rambling of mine tacked on, I'm just trying to open the discussion.

To generate a further tangent: is it just me, or is the new board's quote function just a little bit unwieldly? I don't want to restart the "old Boards, new Boards discussion", but the box drawn mass of wasted white space. I took out the QUOTE block, but left the "said:" and bold and italics in. Is that a better way to highlight your thoughts, give credit where it was due, and not make the responce take up too much screen real estate?

You could put quotation marks around the quoted text, as any sort of standard written form uses...

Bleah. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...ies/tongue.gif And I thought the Fark discussion had taken a nasty turn as the amount of specificity in the discussion increased.
