Matrix wallpaper
 

Hi all,

Last evening I took some time for myself (get rid of some stress due to graduating) and I made a small wallpaper. I really like Agent Smith from The Matrix trilogy, so he's the one I focussed on. It is my first try at this. What do you guys think? I made it 1024x768. My nickname on the bottom of the pic will dissapear behind the taskbar.

Like it alot, especially the light-version: I for one would put the light-one in the middle, but thats preference.

I put the light-version of Smith in a corner to avoid the straight edges that picture has. These pics all come from the website of The Matrix (www.enterthematrix.com) and they were selected before I ever saw Reloaded and the last one.

I think it looks very good! I thought it was professional at first. Only problem (for me) is the off-color "Smith" in the lower left. Perhaps if you altered the hue a bit to make it "fit" with the rest of the "green theme".

Of course, that's just my opinion. Good job!

If you havn't noticed yet, next time you watch Lord of the Rings, look closely at Elrond...And say 'Mr. Anderson...'

The first time I watched LOTR, I saw him and thought, "I've seen that face somewhere before...". After a few minutes of thinking, I suddenly realized, It's Agent Smith!!

I saw LOTR before the Matrix trilogy.
I must say, watching LoTR again after seein the Matrix kind of ruined the scenes involving Elrond.
I always keep expecting to hear "You will unite or you will fall, Mr. Anderson.."

Good thing the Peter Jackson didn't make The Matrix too (or the Wachowski brothers for that matter), he might have left the ears on Hugo Weaving, hehehe...

I left that image as it was because I really like it, the best thing I can do is to make the edges a bit more green (maybe blur them a bit).

Kamog:
The way he speaks was derived from the janitor of the Matrix set. I heard Hugo saying that on one of the many extra's on the 10 DVD set of The Matrix.

Maybe later on I make several more with different themes.

Yes, my perfect world would be one where I had the powers of Q and could do anything, create anything, do anything that I wanted all without fear of being punished and or killed for it.

I would create a universe where I had purpose, a life doing something that I enjoyed. When I got bored, I would create a new universe and start all over again.

Exactly. And Im willing to hang around this life just so I can see if we get it done in time before Im "retired" to an old folks home. We are SOOOooo close. I want jacked-in technology to be cheap enough to be common equipment at care facilities before I get there.

Similar thing. I saw a mocked up poster of Elrond wearing Smiths's shades going "Hobbits are a virus."

So now scenes in both trilogies are ruined!
