Ed Kolis and SmartMass?
 

Anyone know anything about what might've become of Ed Kolis or SmartMass? Their emails both started bouncing and have done so for quite a while now.

He said he's been retrofitting his PC with Linux, but I don't think it's going that very well..... or perhaps his internet connection has gone kablooie.

I doubt. Linux has no promblems with networking. And then our inet connection goes down we try to let someone know about it.
Most likely it's some RL issues.

Could be, I've no experience whatsoever with Linux. All I know is that a few weeks back, he sent me a PM in which he said he'd been refitting his computer with linux and that it took some time in response to a question of mine about his long time offline.

I say we consider them both MIA. Perhaps they were traveling on a worldship on a celebratory voyage celebrating their victory or something, when they were sucked into another dimension or something. Who knows.

I suspect we would have seen the worldship. Unless it was cloaked. In which case, I would ask what manner of creature Ed et al really are...

Good god. He's been deleted from the entire space-time continuum! It's paradoxical that we even remember him given this rending and reweaving time itself...but even now, I find my recollection of him fading...can anyone even remember what he looked like anymore...It's like that movie with Julianne Moore ("the forgotten"?)...

Actual data can completely obliterate most of the most beautiful hypotheseses (is that correct?), speculations and theories.....
