an army of horrors

so i came upon a method for making an army of horrors, by using wish, gift odf reason, then empowering the reasoning horror.

the weird thing is that after every battle 4 horrors would die, weather they where killed in combat or not...

whats the cause of this? is it a bug?

That's an odd one, and I'm afraid I have no clue. I think you should just admit you've won that particular game, and move on http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

just horrors

doom horrors are bad luck http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...ies/tongue.gif

now I'm thinking an army of natarajas well equiped would be formidable

Re: an army of horrors

for very powerful defence try mega clamming with atlantis with malestrom to make clams and also use the pearls to summon tons of priests . when u have loads of deep seers with 2 clams each start building coral queens ( while ur doing all this hopefully u will b researching for wish.) then when ur pretty safe from dominion start wishing for sphinxes+ancient krakens+dagons ect ( just b sure to expand and make tons of temples )

If you are using the latest patch, they will only produce one astral gem each, even with more than one clam.

Re: an army of horrors

really? then just add a clam to ur priests instead of 2 on seers

Wishing for pretenders is quite well documented. Since you can wish for any unit in the game, it would infact be odder if you could not wish for them.

Re: an army of horrors

they show up as commandable units though, not as commanders. which is where gift of reason comes in.

I like to set up a clam field (only one each) or an earthstone field, or setting up a field of mummies and giving them fever charms, or giving sages fever charms and rings of regeneration. all ways to boost gem income without having to expand your territory.

i did try the nataraja thing, i was pretty impressed. I am thinking, summoning a good fighter pretender (like a wyrm) would make for a better wish since you don't have to git of reason them to mnake them usefull.
