Schlitzohr - running, 36h QH
 
After the Frechdachs game is finished (with Dimaz being the Winner, playing Ulm), I am planing to host a new game called "Schlitzohr". I am trying to stay in line with the last one. So, few option will change:
  • Aran map
  • 20 VPs on the map, 11 to win
  • Independents: 3
  • Magic Sites: 60
  • Common Events
  • Normal research
  • Richness: 2
  • 15 HOF entries
  • Starting Provinces: 1
  • Renaming Allowed
  • Master PW set
  • We start with 24h QH
  • Conceptual Balance Mod 5.2 ( Link )

The map says a maximum player number of 10, so that is what I am aiming at.
  • Bluebird - Machaka
  • OG_Gleep - Marignon
  • Reverend Zombie - C'tis
  • Folket - Mictlan
  • KissBlade - R'leyh
  • WraithLord - Arco
  • Cainehill - Ermor
  • The_Tauren13 - Pangaea
  • Morkilus - Abysia
  • Shovah - Ulm

House rules: death themes are allowed, but have to be announced before (and make sure that you can keep you neighbors under control, as most don't like it)

Sorry Wish_for_Blood_Slave and Castigated ... as always it is first post, first serve.

Shovah: make yourself clear if you really want to play (I won't wait until things resolve in Winnowing), otherwise I would let Wish_for_Blood_Slaves in.

As for everybody else: I am planning to set up the server today, then you can upload pretenders. Please upload you pretender until Friday night (CET). I will start the server then or as soon as everyone has uploaded the pretender.

I hope that The_Tauren13 still shows up ... he has not said anything about being late for the turn ... I hope we do not have a stall player from the start of the game. If that is true, I am for a new start, as I don't like players on AI.

With this three day weekend coming up, it is unlikely that I will be able to play any turns until this time on Tuesday...
So, if you want to pause the game, that would be great. And there is always the possibility I might make a turn somewhere along the way.
But if not, dont sweat it. Im accustomed to staling these days... damn comcast not offering cable in my area...

Tom_Scudder has just e-mailed me and told me that his laptop got fried and he hopes that he will be back online next Monday. Because of this and Pangaea's stale turn and Tauren13, I will disable the timeouts for the game so we play on QH only over the weekend (with probably no turns).

It looks like the game will be a slow one, but I assume that it will eventually become an exiting adventure. Sorry for everybody who had expected a faster-paced game.

I am planning to switch back to 36h QH on Monday evening (CET).

I have received the following mail from Tom Scudder:

I have no idea what diplomatic relationships Tom had established. I think I contacted everyone, if I forgot someone, PM me plz. I will honor any prior agreement Tom had made, and am interested in establishing peaceful arangements with my neighbors.

I am fond of them too but So far, I've lost my first starspawn to a horror, second one had S2 scripted to cast return, only to lose his mind and get attacked AFTERwards. And to add, tritons decided to liberate my province. You'd think luck 3 implies ... luck ...

Yes, I'm using the priests. Which is why it's even more insulting, I finally get a s2 and it crazies on me.

which is one of the reasons the chalice is probably one of the best artifacts for ryleh because can let your mages get very high summoning lvls. the other is that knights cant attack underwater can they?
