Anyone know whats up with HB? I just happened to visit the site and was pretty shocked to see todays post there. I never expexted Hadrian to use such language, obiously he is upset about something or someone.

If you like his site, why don't you send him a nice email. It takes a heck of a lot of work to put up a site like his. I think it is important to send him periodic feedback so he knows he's appreciated.

Whoa. I just checked it out.

There was one time when I showed a Spoogy Dreadnought destroying one of Hadrian's Pacea cruisers - but I let him know that it was just a joke and it seemed fine...

Hyperionbase is the yardstick by which we all measure Space Empires sites. I mean my little site is just a hole in a wall compared to his. It gives us something to aim for.

Hadrian - perhaps it's time for a change. Maybe you can create your own universe, I've browsed through your site often and noticed that you have great ideas and designs - You could make your own creation and not have to worry about roleplaying, following rules, and dealing with other people's crap.

Wow. Well I can understand the problem. My site was terminated because of some jerk saying I had "his" authorized work for download. Plllllleeeeeeeeeaaaaaasssssseeeeee.

All I can say is, I somewhat understand.

Hadrian is somewhat "displeased" with the actions of someone who is "displeased" at the actions of Hadrian.

Just be aware that there are two sides to this story, and neither side appears to be "right".

I'd really prefer not to say anything about the issue.

Although I'm not involved, this time, Hadrian and I don't get along at the best of times, and are at each other's throats the rest of the time. If I said anything more, it'd more than probably be biased.

I to will refrain from saying any thing becuase as Danjel says, Me and Hadrain often disagree, (Hmmm, Me and Danjel often disagree also...)

At the current moment Ezboard is down, Once it comes back up the thread with the info will be deleted as it should be, It may be already, But if you hurry to the Ladders forum you may get to see it.

It's best for the whole issue to be droped. Let me just say, that Someone said some very hateful things to Hadrain, but there is a possiblity that the person really didn't say it instead it could have been a hacker posing as person A.

It's one of those things that never will be resolved. Just best to let it drop.

Hadrain, if your reading this let me say, I know you don't want to just let it drop but it's the only choice.

Well if you really want to know there was some issue in which Hadrian was under the impression that I was making racist remarks to him, about him, while I was left with the same impression. As it turns out it was probably a group of hackers trying to be asses. Both Hadrian and I have enough enemies that a hacker or two trying to get at us both is both possible and PROBABLE. In any case, we resolved the situation over AIM today.

The fact of the matter is that it looks like some people were hacked, thier screen names were then used to turn myself and another against each other and start a flame war and make us into bitter rivals.

As for Danjel and I, we've been at odds since we met. I do not think Danjel would resort to such to settle a grudge. It's not his way.

Sadly, some people want to see HB go. After the recent events, I've decided that I won't leave for a long time. When I have to leave, I think I shall pass the the torch to another ans HB shall server SE until it is no longer required.

As for starting my own RP, I've tinkered in it some. Didn't work out well as I never got the help I needed to keep it going. I lacked the knowledge to program the site (CGI as in Perl, PHP, etc.). I still have hopes to some day see such a site. Once it becomes possible to realize this plan, I shall contact Malfador about it for I need some permissions and info...

so i take it that hyperion base is extinct, since it's wwww.addy now takes you to the nevada corrections webpage (or something to that affect anyway).

I'm happy to say whatever the problem was it seems to have been fixed now.

No comment from Hadrian about it on the site so I am assuming it was just some minor tech glitch.
