Nice to see some of the interface improvements/differences from the old screenies. Not sure if this is new or I just didn't notice before but I like the way that the interface background changes with your empire colors.
Also noticed a lot of Starfury names. In the ship statistics: "Salvage Value" , "Production (net)" ... neat. I'm wondering if that graphic just to the right of the "Crew" box has any functionality. I'm also wondering how the mechanics work for placing planetary facilities and defenses with respect to how they will be placed during ground combat; if they can be changed, if the placement has any effect on how they function, etc. It's great that ground combat will be much more detailed. |

haha! that first one with the fighter furball is clearly from SJ's CBMod for SE5 prototype. Notice the Hull Size is "Small Satelite"

I can see that third one is ground combat but why does it appear to be negative. Is it due to a storm or something?

It's a combination of a lighting effect and a lower quality .jpg image.

I only ever watched one epiosde of Firefly (the one with the reaver survivor) and the red ships in that first picture reminds me of the alliance warships. Built tall rather than long.

Is it just me or are there Amonkrie fighters in the ground combat? That would be cool. Aeral strikes in ground combat. Or perhaps they are a form of atmospheric aircraft unit?

The interface colours change in the old screenshots too, actually.
Blue = Strategic. Red = Tactical combat. Green = Ground combat. |

Yes the date is wrong. The top 8 shots are new, then you see the same old date again under them as the start of the old shots.

Those are nice screen shots. I cannot wait until we get to see the actual nebulae being created and destroyed in real-time. It looks like it is amazing.

rumor had it, that it might also include orbital bombardment from ships.
