Here is the Romulan SE V ship set Version 1.02

EDIT 11:10 pm - PST - v1.02 update.

[i]Ok, I don't know why it happened, but for some reason the resized picture didn't resize. So here here is version 1.02 with the CORRECT resized image. So you can either download the set again, or download this THIS REPLACEMENT file and manually place it into the Romulan empire folder.

Yup, there was a problem. The 128x128 racial portrait was actually 512x512. I am uploading the Romulan v1.01, set now. so hopefully the 12 or so people who just downloaded it won't mind downloading it again, or if they want, they can just download THIS REPLACEMENT file and manually place it into the Romulan empire folder.

Is it just me or is the green tint a little to dark? I have problems making out shades in the greens and my eyes were straining to find the lines against the black star field.

No problem my spam filter weeded it out but I knew what it was before even reading the subject. The size was a dead give away. I should have it turned around by tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest.

I know, I never lost faith. If it wasn't for him and the rest of the modding community I probably wouldn't care for this game. And there probably wouldn't have been a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th game.

The Romulans are nearly complete. The ship firing points and arcs have just been finished and I am tweaking other files. Once PES finalizes the Slot Layouts and they are completed I hope to be able to release the set.

I was going to leave the whole 2 extra cube thing alone myself. The slots are finished and submitted for your approval good Sir. As always if you (or anyone for that matter) sees problems or needed changes please don't be shy. Just drop a PM to Atrocities and he will work everything out, even a slot issue. He is doing all of this wonderful work for our benefit so please pay him the respect he is due and tell him "Thank you".

Sorry EaX 12 would still be wrong. Going up will just make the numbers worse. Stick with 8! After the first 8 it would take what...56 right?

I just hope people like the set. A lot of time and effort went into these last three ships sets. The cooperation of three very talented people, (David, PES, PCP) the help of many members here, and insight from Aaron all played a part.

Ya a bit much, but hey, given what I knew last week about this process compared to now, thanks are in order.

With any a few more sets will be forth coming.

Bit of a problem with the race pics. When selecting race you can click on the little picture, but the mdm won't appear. Later I checked my empire. Again, the little race pic is there, but click on it for racial details and it is too big. It runs over the pop up window.

EDIT: CORRECT SIZE now. I don't know what in the hell went wrong, but I did resize it. Now I know its been resized.

I don't get it, I have been having problems with XP power toys not resizing images lately. It says it resized it, but obviously it didn't. Thank you Randal for catching this for me both times. I should have double checked.

THIS REPLACEMENT manually place it into the Romulan empire folder.

Looks like they are evenly sized too. Is that a fair assessment? I haven't had a chance to combine them yet for combat to see if they are all fairly sized evenly.

I think it worked out quite nicely. I suppose a comparison to stock ships would be nessesary to really nail it down. Plus or minus a few percent in size at most.
