\"Weekender\": resume?
 

I'll be hosting 8-10 serious players on the fixed Cradle map (available here). Experience is not as important as your commitment to stick with the game till the end, complete turns on time and let me know if you need extra time for some reason.

Hosting schedule will be twice on weekends, once mid-week (something like Friday night, Sunday morning and Wednesday night). I'm in the U.S. eastern time zone.

We'll try this as a TCP game to start, but may need to switch to PBEM if problems with my server prove intractable. I will force host turns at the appointed times once all turns are in. This will ensure that problems with the server don't cause anyone to stale.

Age: Late

Victory: The winner will need to achieve a Dominion score of approximately 1670. Each converted province is worth 11-20 Dominion points.

House rule: Any player playing Man must not take advantage of the Black Dogs bug.

Renaming on, playing with master password.

Defaults for everything else.

Post here with your nation choice, and send me a PM with your email address in order to get the IP and port.

I'll be playing but haven't picked a nation yet, so we have room for up to 9 other players. We'll start once we have 10 players' pretenders uploaded, or Wednesday night, whichever comes first.

If someone suggests a balanced map for 11 players and there are no objections, I'd love for you to join. (It'll keep me from having to fix the damn bugs in the Cradle map myself, too!)

FAJ has requested the game be quickhost to start. Turns would be untimed (due to aforementioned server problems) so everyone would be on their honor to do *at least* three turns a week.

If no one objects, this is fine with me.

Good question! (though I regret to inform you, Paul, that Dedas will definitely be playing)

Per FAJ's request, the game will be on quickhost to start. Players are on their on honor to complete according to the minimum schedule of 2 turns on the weekend, once during the week.

Since we're starting in the middle of the week, this means players should plan on completing the first turn by Friday, and at least one more over the course of the weekend, then another in the middle of next week, and so on.

If we can get more done, that is great.

Unfortunately, no. Hang in there and don't get discouraged--you might even want to think about hosting a game yourself. As you have noticed, demand is high and you'll have no problem finding enough players!

Hopefully, another game will be starting in a week or two. Until then get a load of practice in SP play, MP play is tough and ruthless but fun.

Make sure you try to check the multiplayer thread a few times a day. Games fill up within 24hrs generally.
