Subs sought for three games
 

Something came up and I need to leave town from early Sunday morning(Eastern standard) till Thursday afternoon. I'm Mictlan in Doomchicken (Email) and I'm in Evermore as MA C'Tis, and Dawn of War as Jotunheim. The last two are network games.

There's a CHANCE that I'll have web access where I'm going but I won't know till Sunday afternoon. If I can play, then my sub(s) won't have to do anything after all.

If nobody else will do it, I will follow instructions and certainly be better than a stale.

But, I am new to Dominions, and another sub would probably be better.

That said, I can read and do what I am told to do. A rare enough trait these days when dealing with people you can't fire.

Lord_Bob hasn't responded and I'm running out of time. I still need subs for my three games. Can anyone help a fellow Dom3 player down on his luck?

Well, I could halp joo out with Doomchicken and Dawn of War, since I'm already subbing in Evermore. ;p

Just gimme instructions on what to do and whatnot. Although, I think you could just ask for an extension for DoomChicken cuz it's LlamaServer game and changing the email address to mine for a few days could be a bit of a stretch.

Yeah. The admin said he could delay for 100 hours if no one objected. I don't believe anyone has so far. I think I'll take you up on Dawn of War. Lord_Bob got back to me, so maybe he can take Evermore.

Of course all this will be moot if I can access the web after all.

Well, I posted and now 50 people want to do it.

Well, ok.

Maybe if I need a sub I should respond to myself and then back out. That would probably allow me to attract "sympathy subs".

I thank you for your offer of help. Your post led me to believe that you were offering yourself as a last ditch option. I'm short on time and both of the other posters are more experienced with MP. Anytime in the future that YOU need a sub, I'll help out as long as I'm available and not already in the same game. I've had enough experience with "leet" gamers in other games. I'm not going to pull the same snobby attitude.

p.s. Im trying to get a rl friend to take my turns, but I haven't heard back yet. If he can do it, then I can talk him through my turns over the phone. In that case, I'll let you guys know ASAP. Also, I may end up being able to access the web where I'm going, so it'll be moot anyway.

Well, better have folks you can fall back to if other things don't work than getting stuck with stales, which probably was what you were thinking in the first place.

I didn't so much want to play your empire as see how someone with experience set up their empire. Other than that I would pretty much stick to whatever plan you said.

Still, getting a look at how someone who knew what they were doing did things would be a great help to my own play.

However, yes, the other subs would be better, and you should probably use them. No worries.

NOTE:
While I probably do have a "harmless" rating as for as the strategic play, tactically, I do understand the game.

I just typed up guidelines for the two games. I'll PM the appropriate ones to you guys later, along with my game files. I'm STILL waiting on a response from my friend.
