Share your bedtime dominions dreams
 

I've had two dreams of Dominions so far.

1: I was playing a MP game where Ermor's army hundreds of undead and many many commanders were marching to my home province to take me out. THIS WAS REAL LIFE. The dream I had was that I successfully assassinated every commander that was on my home province, broke siege, and all the udnead retreated. This is what happened in real life. Of course, it wasn't some amazing fortune-telling dream. I actually started a test game to see how to overcome such daunting odds, so I already knew what was going to happen.

2: A lot more disturbing, I fell asleep one night thinking about how the Devourer of Souls had +10 fear and how it must be extremely scary to look at if it were real. For a short time as I drifted into sleep, I started getting really afraid of the Devourer of Souls. In my head I saw it running around the world, eating people, and it was coming for me. It was really freaky and nightmarish... but a short time later I just fell asleep into a normal dream.

Can't say I've had Dominions 3 nightmares, but I sometimes do think of what to research before I pass out

Although I do wish I had a bog beast plushie to hold while I slept...

I happen to think about what could happen and strategies to come when I walk for a while or when I wait for a long time (like before sleeping). I don't dream about it yet though ! Or maybe I just don't remember it.

Hey everybody. I've probably had a few - back when I was playing anyway. I know that there were many, many nights that I fell asleep planning my next move or mentally outfitting my next SC, but I very rarely remember any dreams, so I can't recall any right now.

Lately, my Dominions dreams have been about a woman dressed in fancy underwear who keeps telling me: "I want my Dominions 3."

A game really isn't that memorable if you don't dream about it at least once. I can't say I've had any Dominions 3 related dreams recently, but I did when I first played it. I used to wake up remember specific things I did in my dreams and trying them out in game. My subconscious is a pretty good player for only having access to the game about 8 hours a day. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

Argitoth, your #1 dream sounds like my actual first game of Dominions: P.P.P.

I think I have probably had dreams with Dominions in them in some way or another, but I don't remember specifics right now.

I have put myself to sleep by musing various thoughts about the games.

I posted a thread a while back on the same. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif Once I was playing "cowboys and indians" with the Earth Mother...

Worse are the dreams where you wake up at 3AM and say sh**t! I forgot to... <fill in blank> change my research, take sneak off, storm a castle, etc. Usually 10 minutes after llamaserver has hosted.

I think I said it before in some thread, but I have had dreams of Dominions many times (as of every other intensive game I play). Arrows moving on map, finding magic sites and so on. Last time I dreamed of a game position where I for the first time tried mass enslave and of what I got from that.

In real life in the game I was playing I, noticed that it was possible to enslave AIs profet to get another for me, then wait for few turns 'cause for some reason that AI didn't have to wait for long to make another and get third.

I've never dreamed about Dominions the game. But I have dreamed about some of the models in the Dom 3 ads.

I'm 19 and I do not have a dam clue what sexual connotation that is referring to.
