Looking for replacements for 3 very fun games.

I am having a blast in Priori, Vanilla LA and Uakari. Unfortunately real life has put a clamp on my Dominions play time. I am looking for a player or some players to take over my positions in the mentioned games.

Priori:

I am C'tis in this game, with a powerhouse economy, everything researched and several SCs. I would say I am probably tied for second place in this game and I am currently in a winning war against one other nation.

Vanilla LA:

In this game I am playing LA Mictlan. I have taken capital after capital in this game and I would surely think I am at the very least in 3rd place in this game, though graphs are cut off so it is hard to tell.

Uakari:

In this game I am hovering close to last with R'lyeh, but I am in a solid position anyway. I am on the losing end of a war with Mictlan but this game is far from hopeless. A solid gem income and a bazillion mages should make this nation fun and competitive even with the current graphs.

If you are interested in any of these positions, reply here to this thread. Thank you much!

I'll try going for Vanilla LA.

I'm sorry about your circumstance foodstamp. I would have liked for you to have seen some of the things I had in store for you. I suppose Mictlan will have to deal with a slight change of gears. Good luck to you.

I am still seeking a replacement for Priori and Uakari. Apply within!

As a perspective from another player in Priori: C'tis has a medium sized empire with a vastly larger sized stack of resources and possibilities. A couple of their neighbors have given up hope so expansion is easily possible and you will have endgame units and capabilities. Looks like a fun resources packed position to me.

The nation is easily in a two or three way tie for second and the first player is at war (and beating their foes pretty handily I must admit) with most of the known world.

I believe the Priori game is ending, Foodstamp. That seems to be the general consensus of the remaining players.

You go to me. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

If you PM you an e-mail adress I will arrange for the turns to be sent to you.

Game thread is here: http://www.shrapnelcommunity.com/thr...o=&fpart=1

R'lyeh is currently at war with Mictlan, but I'm otherwise uncertain as to their situation. (I'm on the other side of the map. ) I'll be happy to answer any general questions you might have though. If you PM Foodstamp he'll hopefully have time to fill you in on what he was doing. I'll be happy to answer any general questions you might have though.

Re: Looking for replacements for 3 very fun games.

Yes it is. Is that a problem?

We're using the Llamaserver, it's easy and convenient.

Re: Looking for replacements for 3 very fun games.

Xanatos,

Llamaserver PBEM are way better than regular email games. If you decide to play this game let me know. I accidently pw protected my pretender, and I will need to give you that password.

Re: Looking for replacements for 3 very fun games.

It's very simple.

You give Amhazair your email through private message.

He routes the turns to your email.

You save the turn file in a folder called Uakari.

Once you finish your turn, you reply to the server generated email with your new .2h file attached to your email.

The server processes your turn, sends you a confirmation email.

Repeat until end of game.

The entire process takes about 5 seconds not counting the time you spend on your turn.

save the folder where?

Amhazair May 21st, 2008 03:59 PM

Re: Looking for replacements for 3 very fun games.

You go to the 'Program files - Dominions3 - savedgames' folder. There you will see a number of other folders that hold all your other savedgames. Make a new folder there and name it Uakari.

Then, when you receive the email save the .trn file into that folder. Then play and save your turn as normal. This will create a 2h file. Send this 2h file back to Llamaserver, and you're done.

(The entire procedure is also explained on p29 of the manual. )

Re: Looking for replacements for 3 very fun games.

The Priori position is still open, we're trying to get the game going again.

As Foodstamp said, it's C'tis, well into the endgame, in a very strong position.

A chance to play with endgame toys, and blame his handling of the early game if you can't win http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Well I looked in the thread for Priori, and it looked like everyone would be bummed if someone didn't at least come in and pretend to be a proper opponent. I don't like to see people lose the end to a game they invested so much into, so I will be your sacrificial lamb if you like. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...ies/tongue.gif
