Let's make wild guesses as to what this is all about. Stupidest idea wins. (Richard: no fair telling us!) I'll start:

SEIV: The Movie
This 127-hour epic will have you glued to your seats!

A new review for the main page? http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif

I'd offer my services, but technically I don't have any "Professional" writing experience. *makes a note of that*

But darnit, I'm curious now. http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/ima...ons/icon12.gif

SEIV the breakfast cereal.

With marshmellow PPB and Capital Ship Missles.

Complete with Mr. MEE as a mascot.

------------------
Assume you have a 1kg squirrel
E=mc^2
E=1kg(3x10^8m/s)^2=9x10^16J
which, if I'm not mistaken, is equivilent to roughly a 50 megaton nuclear bomb.
Fear the squirrel.

I have writing experiance, I've never been professionally published as I've never finished a story (I'm a tinkerer so I'm always tinkering with my work when I should finish, then tinker). I've worked on several school literary magazines and I've written many stories.

I've also written in-dpeth manuals and backstories for various items. Many of my friends in SE can testify to that end alone.

Email me if you would like an updated resume (It's much better written than the poor one I sent before).

EDIT - I forgot to mention, I am experianced in writing scripts for TV, Movie, Audio, etc.
Just incase it is an SE4 Movie!

Hey, is this for the rumored RPG!

The breakfast cereal has great possibilities, all the flakes in the shapes of each specific race, marshmellows in the shapes of missles, ships and planets, each race with their own color, Makes your mouth water... look out Kellog, Look at the marketing prospects, salesman should be good professional writers in order to sell the product.. You could actually play with your cereal while you eat, let alone all the accompaning sound effects. Mothers everywhere would just love it....

just some ideas mac

I thought that was already announced, and it was Runesword II? indeed there is a page up on this site for that game, and its very own intel forum. and its got squat to do with space empires.

which reminds me, somewhere recently I saw a site about a MMORPG construction kit. looked interesting. or was that MMPOLRPG, crikes, i can never remember that acronym.

MM has said of several occasions that they were going to try to take a break from the Space Empires Line and maybe try something else.

Also, MM stated on thier own site that They are working on an RPG along with several interviews.

Finally, MM said in his first interview with SE.org that he would like someone to make a good re-make of dungeon master.

But... On the other hand, There has been a few reports of an SE4 Expansion pack and reports in interviews of what a Online SE5 would be like.

Although my spelling skills suck, I am a rather accomplished report writer. I have never written anything with the intention of ever having it used for anything other than work, and for that matter, published.

Ok time to speculate...

MM & Shrapnel are being sued, and Richard needs someone with great writing skills and knowledge of SEIV to help prove that SEIV is unique, and not a remade Version of another game. (Damn Microsoft)

Two, MM & Shrapnel are branching the SEIV franchise out to include other consules.

Three, A Book Series.

Four, A new manual.

Five, A How Too Book to be published.

Any of these in the ball park Richard?

Personally, I think it's either writing a story for a retail SE4 or for an RPG based in the SE4 Universe.
