Marignon for me

Re: Collider - Small Late Age Game - Open for Sign-Ups

My apologies Starshine, but I included myself in the mix. So there wasn't any space left when you posted. Your next in line though if someone suddenly drops. Thanks.

The Game page is already up. Start loading your pretenders.

Re: Collider - Small Late Age Game - Upload Pretenders

Wow, all filled up in 14 hours. Nice.

Incidentally you seem to have more than 8 players listed in the first post.

AreaOfEffect October 2nd, 2008 04:51 PM

Re: Collider - Small Late Age Game - Upload Pretenders

Indeed , I addressed that in my most recent post. I hope to do battle with/against Starshine_Monarch in the future.

The especially good news is not only is the game full up in such a short time, but half of the pretenders are also ready to go.

Lingchih October 2nd, 2008 10:15 PM

Re: Collider - Small Late Age Game - Upload Pretenders

Please go ahead and tell Starshine that he can play. I'll drop... you need a Marignon in this game more than you need a Pythium.

Good luck to you all.

Re: Collider - Small Late Age Game - Upload Pretenders

Understood.

Pimpin Referance: Good luck with Ermor, and stop getting flanked by Argatha.

We'd be happy to have you join, but it's a late era game, there is no sauro.

Re: MP Collider - Small Late Age Game - Need 1 Player

That's Okay.

I haven't heard back from Starshine and I sent him a private message yesterday. I will not assume that he's still playing if we here nothing from him by the time Grudge submits his pretender.

Re: MP Collider - Small Late Age Game - Upload Pretenders

OK, count me in if Starshine doesn't show up. I'll play Mari. Killer Build.

Just tell me if I am in, and will upload the pretender.

Re: Collider - Small Late Age Game - Upload Pretenders

Hey all, I'm on the American West Coast, and I will be gone for a slightly longer than 24 hour period between Saturday at noon local time (approximately 13 hours from this post), until Sunday approximately 1500 (perhaps a little later). After that I shouldn't really have problems making it, but are we looking at 24 hour or 48 hour turns here?

AreaOfEffect October 4th, 2008 08:24 AM

Re: Collider - Small Late Age Game - Upload Pretenders

Okay. Can't complain cause I've seen games take much much longer to start.

Lingchih October 4th, 2008 09:34 PM

Re: Collider - Small Late Age Game - Upload Pretenders

Ahh, sorry, forgot to check this post. I'll send in a pretender tonite.

My first ever blind first turn attack. It went badly, as I have always assumed it would.

GrudgeBringer October 5th, 2008 09:15 PM

Re: Collider - Small Late Age Game - Running

If I wait...they are always easy!!

If I attack Blind....they kick my butt EVERYTIME.

I wonder sometimes if the Devs set it up like that...

Re: Collider - Small Late Age Game - Running

Information is the source of much success. A lack of knowledge is the source of much calamity. Even with an awake SC god, I always wait till turn two for attacks.

Hunter says, "It is better to live one day as a jaguar than a hundred years as a bare-eared squirrel monkey."

Mictlan respects Kali's bravado and touch of derring-do.

I am assuming that Mictlan respects Marignion's bravado without emulating it? ;)

vfb October 6th, 2008 03:01 AM

Re: Collider - Small Late Age Game - Running

Well, first we need to get ourselves some jaguars. Right now all we've got is a couple of squirrel monkeys and some sheep.

Lingchih October 7th, 2008 12:32 AM

Re: Collider - Small Late Age Game - Running

Ahh, yes, much better. So helpful to actually see your enemies before you attack them. But many veterans always attack blind the first turn. I will not be one of those though, in the future.

vfb October 10th, 2008 05:15 AM

Re: Collider - Small Late Age Game - Running

Hunter, prophet of Zetacosta, has heard it said, "Life is not separate from death. The only ones who really know what it is are those who have gone over."

But he has also heard it said, "The check is in the mail."

Re: Collider - Small Late Age Game - Running

There is a new flag flying on Mictlan's southern border, and the color of that flag is red. We do not negotiate with zombies!

Now, if anyone's got a six-demon bag Mictlan could borrow for a month or two, that would be really frikkin' fantastic.

Greetings Ulm, Greeting Bogarus (sorry about that little mishap), Greetings Man. We wish all our neighbors well, and mean none of you any harm. We are here for one purpose, and though we did not get a border with Ermor, we have no doubt that they will make it this way eventually. We await them.

The Council of Marignon

Lingchih really hates Ermor. You can say he has a score to settle.

Greetings Bogarus.

Re: Collider - Small Late Age Game - Running

Hmm. Just noticed. The ocean provs are Pop O now. (guess that's what Dead Seas means). This seems rather odd. What is the reason for this?

Forgive me. I am in 4 games now, one of which is taking up 90% of my attention. So I might miss a few things here and there in this game.

I assume you can still find sites/gems in the ocean provs?

vfb October 11th, 2008 04:52 AM

Re: Collider - Small Late Age Game - Running

The 'Dead Seas' map version has ocean provinces with:
about 75 supply,
zero population,
2 resources.

There are no magic sites at all in the oceans.

Guess that hurts Atlantis quite a bit eh?

Well, not to mention Mictlan! And Agartha and Ermor have a pretty easy time getting into the water too.
