Thinking about doing a Transformers Set
 

I have been kicking the idea around for sometime now, and would like some input. If I were to do a Transformers set, would any one be interested in it? You all know the time it takes to do a set, and even though the net is wired with excellent Transformer sites, getting approval to use the images, if they are good ones, might pose a prob.

Not a big prob, as most of the image creators are unknown, and credit can be given to them postumously (sp).

However, before take on this set, I want to be sure that the product of my time and effort will be used and enjoyed by others.

(PS, I am also considering compiling three more trek races.

One based off of Mr.Schziods Vulcans, using his set and adding to it to complete it.

The Horogin, from Voyager

And the Kazon from Voyager.

Go for it! A Transformers set would be sooo cool. That was one of my favorite shows as a kid.

Robotech sets are on the way!

I’m kinda burned out on the whole thing though, so I can’t give an exact date, but I think the wait will be worth it.

It was my favorite child TV show...
I can´t wait for it !

Meanwhile, i just finished my own race, Starcraft´s Protoss.
(is posted in the shipset´s forum right here, as well as in Play by web site seiv.pbw.cc)
Right now i begun to play with my new shipset, but i think of doing the other two sets, the Zerg and the Terran.

HEY GUYS
This is a very very old thread that I happened to bump because of the Starcraft post. I have no intention of making any Transformers sets. To much work trying to find the pictures and things. All of the old toys I had have long since been auctioned off. I have only about 10 items left and they are not enough to make a set out of.

I'd definitely use transformers set(s). Theres definitely enough material to do more than one. The only problem is you only have what 3 or 4 troops to show the transformed bodies?

I don't think this is possible, but it sure would be cool to show the plane (or car or whatever) when a unit moves, then change it to the robot when its done moving.
