I'm going to start up another newbie game. I've just gotten knocked out of my third multiplayer game. I'm not experienced much late game play yet so I won't be overpowering anybody. I'm basing this games settings on the two other games I've played. Its pretty vanilla.

This is going to be a EA game and Gath is a LA nation. Hinnom is their EA nation. Do you want that? I'm not sure how similar it is. I haven't played either.

Sure, I am not at home PC now so I may mix them up.
I'll take Hinnom as it is ok balanced. Only MA Gath is too powerful for my liking.

Free diplomacy. In game and out of game. Make and break treaties as you see fit. In the other games I've played it was mostly just short term peace treaties done in game. Player also trade items and gems.

Ya mean you submitted your turn but never received a reply from llama server? Odd, worked fine for me. Sent it off and in under five minutes got a reply.

Edit: Also, because I'm curious.. if everybody takes their turns before the deadline do we start the next turn early? Or are the 24 hour time limits absolute?

Editier: Actually Coreyh2, I just retook my turn and got no reply for ten minutes. Resent it again then got a reply for that email 30 seconds later. Then a minute later got a reply for my original email. So it seems to be working, but as the email says make sure ya don't end send different versions of turns within 10+ mins of each other ;)

I didn't get my first trn file until I told the llamaserver to resend.

It automatically hosts when all the 2h files are received. The 24 hours is from the time the last turn was hosted. If all the 2h files aren't received in 24 hours no actions get taken by the late players.

Does it send the turn file to the email you sent the pretender to?

Another question, how long after all the 2h files get sent that an email with the new turn file get sent to you? For me it takes 3-6 hours.

-Can- anyone dispel it? I'll gladly contribute gems towards it. Anything to stop the Hall of the Oracles from turning into an upscale retirement village. Giant-sized wheelchairs don't come cheap :sick:

His page says he hasn't been on the boards since 12/1. Even though it might slow the game down I'm going to wait a couple more days before I do anything.

It'll give you an advantage Vanslime but I don't want to replace him before he responds.

That was me setting Sauromatia to AI. I send his turn to me, turned it to AI, and send it back. The message is a warning for someone cheating by playing multiple nations at once.

Thanks to the heartless deans of my university, I'm gonna have 7 finals in 8 days, so I'm retiring from all my games, setting myself to AI. I'm really sorry people :(

The nation of Mictlan is currently hoping to get some aid in the form of gold to recruit enough priests to research up to enchantment 5 for dispel. We are also accepting any pearls and suggestions for the amount of pearls to use in dispelling the current global enchantments.

I changed the hosting interval to 48 hours. My earlier game switched around turn 40.
