LCC - the wierdness continues

Has anybody else received direct e-mails from that stupid son of a ***** Lonnie Courtney Clay???

Tonight I received a rambling e-mail from the bastard. I have never written to him, and have never commented on his past ramblings in the SEIV forums, so I don't know why he is writing to me. And I don't know what point he is trying to make, because I stopped reading two sentences into the long, long message.

What the hell is this bastard's problem??

I dunno. Block his email IP, name, and email in your email client. Set it to auto-delete the Messages.

What was so bad about the E-Mail?

What was so bad about it is that I don't know the SOB, and he does not know me.

Like many people, I dislike spam in my mailbox. He was an irritant when he was a part of this forum, and he's even more of an irritant in my private e-mail.

I will indeed figure out how to block the pest, and I will do so.

I resent, though, having to take the time to do it.

Telling him to stop, of course, will not work.

I received 4 Messages in my webmail too. Just the same kind of crud he was posting here, you know, hug lists from anagram generators, lists of links to randomly uninteresting websites, song lyrics...

I feel kind of sorry for him. He's obviously clever but he's completely lost all sense of human reason.

You could talk to his isp. And see if he is breaking any of the user agreements he agreed to when signing on. If so they would have to follow their policies in the breach of contract.

Natsef-Amun your use of words are in appropriate, and derogatory. How would you like it if someone referred to you as a SOB on a public forum?

Re: LCC - the wierdness continues

I could care less about Political Correctness, but calling someone an SOB without cause, in a forum that is billed as a professional one, should not be acceptable.

If you allow it start, the flaming, as indeed it was intended by Natsef, then you openly invite problems.

People come to this site not for flame wars or rude Posts, but for the love of the game, and the professional atmosphere that Shrapnel promotes.

This forum is not the place to come and call someone names. If you don't care if someone calls you a name, fine, let them call you whatever they wish over ICQ, but not here.

Behavior like this, if allowed to continue, will kill this forum faster than hard drive crash. I have seen it before, and I had hoped not to see it again, but it looks like I will.

It always starts out in fun, but ultimately ends in shut down of the forum. So I ask you to consider that before you make light of what Natsef has said.

Ok seriously guys I do agree with CNCRaymond.

Flaming each other leads to nothing but trouble and down grades the dignity of this forum and the people doing the flaming.

Yes I have undignifed myself and at Puke's expense.
Let this entire thread and any like it stop here.

Hmmm. I expected some small amount of sympathy from people in this forum, considering that at least some were highly irritated by LCC when he was posting here. It is more irritating to have to deal with this individual privately, using time I would rather be using on other things.

The nutty private e-mails from him are a problem partly because other family members access my e-mail account, and will be, to put it mildly, somewhat concerned by this particular individual's rants.

I didn't ask to have private level contact with this individual. I never commented on his postings here. I resent having to deal with it in my private life.

I included my private e-mail address in my profile because I welcomed private e-mail from fellow SEIV players who wanted to discuss SEIV. I really love this game, and I as really impressed by the many many intelligent people who seem to share this love. You guys are a fun lot.

Now, I can no longer include my private e-mail address in my profile, and I also cannot include my city and state of residence, for reasons that should be obvious. I resent that.

I have tried to explain my feelings on this. I started this OT thread because I wanted to know if anybody else had had the *very unsettling* experience of being personally contacted by an obviously unbalanced and possibly dangerous individual.

But if I have irritated any of you nice folks with this off-topic thread I will be happy to leave the forum.

If anybody thinks this is funny, then kindly **** off...and I hope something similar happens to you real soon.

Re: LCC - the wierdness continues

Time out guys.

Look this is the sort of problem Lonnie caused and why he was Banned. In fact towards the end he began insulting folks in threads for no reason or provocation. I have seen worse on forums but his presence was dragging the forum down and his emails were compounding the problem.

If you have an issue with Lonnie in regards to his email please contact his ISP, but discussing this further when he is no longer able to post just shows how devisive he had become.

I am going to lock this down and recommend that folks take a breather and keep off forum grudges between yourselves.

Thanks.
