Re: Small CBM Llamaserver game

A small game sounds nice:D

I've wanted to try EA Yomi for some time, so that would be my choice, but if others want another age I'm ok with that.

Also, might I suggest that we use Llamabeast's Streamers & Standards? It makes the game a lot more eye candyish:)

About the map, your Sha Bay looks nice,I vote for that:)

Re: Small CBM Llamaserver game

Ok early age sounds good (and i just installed S&S ;) )

I guess we'll use my map to (like i said in its description i cant promise balance but ive played on it before and it seemed ok)

Re: Sha Bay II - Small CBM Llamaserver game

I can't resist trying a small game.

I'll cripple myself right off the bat by playing Tir 'na nog

DakaSha June 4th, 2009 08:37 PM

Re: Sha Bay II - Small CBM Llamaserver game

k cool. 1 more player and we are good to go :)
if anybody wants to try a water nation we'll go to 5... as stated im not sure how that would play out

Re: EA Sha Bay II - RECRUITING

changed the opening post. if you guys dont like any of that let me know as it wasn't stated at the beginning so i will change it if it pisses you off :)

I think the diplo would be interesting this way as:

1. i hate cluttering up my pm box :P
2. its more realistic (in my opinion)
2. it kind of alows for a bit more strategy as one must decide on either staying covert but maybe wasting time or vice versa

as said ill change it if you dont like it though

Frozen Lama June 5th, 2009 09:04 PM

Re: EA Sha Bay II - RECRUITING

I love roleplaying, exoect some creative ones from me.

on the other hand, asking players to use in-game diplo is crazy. it sucks. I'd vote to either let people use PM's or make it absolutely no diplomacy at all, in game or otherwise.

vfb June 5th, 2009 09:30 PM

Re: EA Sha Bay II - RECRUITING

I like the map and a small game sounds good to me! If we can play on a 24-hour schedule I'd like to join as Fomoria. I've got no objections to keeping messaging in-game, but I'm fine either way. It's such a small game that there probably won't be a whole lot of messages flying around anyway.

Hmm i dont agree. It sucks in the way that 'age' sucks. Its realistic and a pain in the *** :) (i like it :P)

but as i said since i didnt state that in the beginning ill gladly switch back to normal diplomacy :) i can start another game after this that uses that system.

ok vfb after work ill select a nation and get the game started up. if by any chance a water nation joins by then ill add them too otherwise we'll start :)

yeah i dont know how that is going to work out. if this game shows the water nation to be a pain ill delete the starting position

Re: EA Sha Bay II - Send in Pretenders

Fomoria would be happy to pay tribute to Atlantis, in the form of a gift of our awesome dominion scales. Your people don't really want to live under the shadow of death, misery, and misfortune, do they?

Re: EA Sha Bay II - Running

soooo. there is a small prob with this map. 2 provinces not linked... do you guys want to start over with a fixed map?

also i could change the sea starting position.

leaving it up to you

Frozen Lama June 9th, 2009 12:46 AM

Re: EA Sha Bay II - Running

I'm sure that 1 connection problem won't hurt the gameplay. The sea start is another issue, but that's up to Jazzepi i guess

Jazzepi June 9th, 2009 12:50 AM

Re: EA Sha Bay II - Running

I don't really care. I'll just INVADE FORMIA on turn 1.

Re: EA Sha Bay II - Running

Yes, we are awaiting the the arrival of your Wyrm at our castle, as soon as he transforms out of lobster form. He's a tricky one!

P.S. On a more serious note, I vote for no restart. The missing border link is not a huge deal, and Atlantis did not actually have a Wyrm ready to take my capitol on turn 1.

ok let the battle (and cliche phrases) rage on!

Greetings fellow inhabitants of Sha Bay. Fomoria desires to trade for pearls, and we offer Water, Air, or Death gems in exchange. Please contact Lua, Prophet of the BFM 9000 with your offers.

Ehm...I was quite busy today but I thought I could manage to find a moment to play my turn before the deadline, but it looks like I've made an error in calculation, and I staled a turn :S Apologies.

uhm wouldnt it have made sense to finish this turn then so you dont accidentally stall again...? :P

Im not rolling back. if you ever have any doubt that you will make the turn just ask for an extension. if you do manage to play the turn then the game will auto update so no harm is done.

Ha ha ha, I'm sure it was, to the concerned parties (or party, as the case may be). However, the situation seems to have resolved itself. I mean, the excess information situation, that is.

Fomoria announces peacekeeping operations in the strife-ridden lands of Yomi. We will not permit the poor devils to be overrun by Fomoria's ancient nemesis, the Tuatha of Tir na N'og. If necessary we will deploy our ultimate weapon, the BFM 9000, to the region.

Hey everyone.
I know it's the second time in a week that this happens, but I might be late for the turn sending(it's been a really messy week).
If by sheer chance, Dakasha reads this message and postpones the hosting by 6 hours, I would be extremely grateful; else,I can just cross my fingers and hope that i get home in time.
I'm really sorry for this.

Well we never expected big ugly giants to be smart. ever seen Tir na nOg hold a province for more than 1 turn? hit and run looks pretty scary huh? now formoria gets to love it just like Yomi. The BFM 1000 can only hold 1 prov at a time. Mwahaha

Yes, we love it! We laugh in the face of disaster, with big Giant laughs! HA HA HA ... ha ... ha ... ha ... ... ha ... sob. I mean, "ha!"

Frozen Lama is my brother in RL.
He needs about a six hour extension. He might make it sooner than that, but just in case. thanks

Frozen Lama June 22nd, 2009 06:26 PM

Re: EA Sha Bay II - Running

Well I guess 8 hours in advance is too short?

I'd like to ask for a rollback. I know that normally thats frowned upon, but I requested a delay plenty in advance, and since there are so few players in this game, the usual turmoil caused by a rollback will be minimal.

Also, staling at this point is likely to be nearly a game-ender for me since I'm fighting a two front war.

I'm hoping you guys will trust me when i say that i have not looked at the current turn, so i have no idea what everyone else's moves were so if we rolled back, I could send in my 2h file quickly and then force host it.

sorry guys.

vfb June 22nd, 2009 06:51 PM

Re: EA Sha Bay II - Running

I agree, Fomoria is at war with Tir and I don't want to get any unfair advantage from them staling.

Normally I'm against rollbacks, but in this case I think we need to do it.

Only Tir should send in a new turn though.

Jazzepi June 22nd, 2009 11:10 PM

Re: EA Sha Bay II - Running

8 hours is enough time for the admin to be at work, asleep, or simply to not check messages.

I don't care if we do a rollbock for Tir's turn or not.

Jazzepi
