Multiple prophets?

In one of my current MP games, I happened to observe something strange: I saw two LA Pangaea prophets fighting invaders during the same turn.
Now, as far as I know only LA RLyeh can have multiple prophets: Ph'nglui mglw'nafh C'thulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn thingie. Perhaps there is some way to have 2+ alive and sane prophets for other nations I don't know about?

Re: Multiple prophets?

The reason LA R'lyeh gets two prophets is that insane commanders can do pretty much anything when they get their insane whim.

There are other ways to get insanity too. For example all tartarians are insane and using the artifact astral booster rod, whatever it's name is, makes you insane too.

Re: Multiple prophets?

Its Pangaea, not Rlyeh, and neither prophet was insane.

Re: Multiple prophets?

Only thing which comes to mind for causing this issue is if the game is using a MOD which introduced a prophet spell??

Are you sure BOTH were prophets and the other was not just a level_3 priest??

IF it's a MP game... why don't you ask the owner??

UPD: it seems that after his God's death option to prophetize commander reappeared. Maybe its worthwhile to run some tests. There are some undocumented features in Dominions - like sometimes base encumberance of Pretenders drops from 2 to 1 for no reason (had it several times).

And yea, both are prophets.

Encumbrance lowers with experience (4 stars I think).

Yes, enc lowers by 1 at 4 stars.
But there's, of course, a plenty of bugs

God's death by turn 18? Wow, must be a real donnybrook.

No no no. That's the same pretender, your 3-dimensional brain just cannot comprehend its 4(+?) dimensional existence.

Re: Multiple prophets?

In the still running Llamaserver CBM game Beardaxe I had as Eriu 2 prophets. Alas that didn't save me from getting extinct ;-)

At some turn I got the message 'The remnants of the dead prophet's power have left this world. You can now appoint a new prophet among your followers', while my original prophet was still healthy, even in the hall of fame.

So I prophetized a second one, and it worked. When that second one got killed, I got and used the possibility to prophetize a third one.

Couldn't clearly discern the effects on dominion spread, but I had the impression that both prophets did spread it.
