MP: Complete beginner blitz game.
 

I'm looking for complete beginners, ideally who have never played a given nation in middle era (or isn't very experienced), for a few blitz (or maybe fast PBEM) games.

TCP/IP over one of Dom3Minions.com servers.
Middle era.
All nations.
Players: 2-4.
Default settings.
Maybe CBM ?

I'm in UTC/GMT +1 time zone.

Potentially interested, but may be too experienced. (There are a lot of MA nations I've never played, but I've played in several PBEM MP games at this point.) I'm in GMT+5 (US Eastern); my schedule is irregular because I'm a student.

If its all pbem then you might prefer Llamabeasts server at
http://www.llamaserver.net
for the nice setup menu. If you prefer direct-connect then my server is probably best and if you get a player who prefers pbem I can set it up to support that player so you both can play. Direct and pbem in the same game. I can also create a larger game just for you if you get more than 4 interested. PM (private message) me here on the forum if need anything.

Fast blitz with time zone settings can work really well with online chats. There is a "CHAT" link visible on the page you are looking at now (right next to forum rules). It even allows you to create a seperate chat room for just you and your game players. It makes for some really fun games. Particularly with the vsAI, SemiRand, or Chaos games where the players tend to ally against the computer players.

I could be in, but it depends on what you mean by "complete beginner" :D

So far I've played about 5 MP games, with 2 still going on, and I played just 1 in MA (getting killed in early game)...overall I think I'm still a total newbie, and I've got nothing to do for the next 2 weeks, so if I meet your standards count me in:)

We could start tomorrow evening, or late afternoon (GMT +1) with a small blitz game for anyone that turns up. Let's agree on an hour and use the "chat".

Gandalf: We might have crashed this server (It froze when we started the game): era 2 game cbm_sledging on port 9534, but we are not using it anymore, so you can reset it. Sorry for trouble.
