My album
The real album has ~400 high. res. screen shots spanning what?- close to four years of dominions III MP.
This album contains some of the highlights (though the UL process shrinks them horribly), just thought it might be worth sharing it :) Maybe other players have similar stuff, or even better - videos. So please share the good stuff :D |
Re: My album
Wow these are actually pretty cool! Thanks for sharing!

Re: My album
Thanks 4 the positive feedback!
Does anyone know where I could dump all my screenshots on the web?- Excluding Picasa which I don't care for much. Oh, and where are all the juicy utube vidoes of glorious battles??? |
Re: My album
Very nice pictures, too bad that you can't see them in their original resolution in the album.

Re: My album
What GUI mod are you using?

Hope that helps! |
Re: My album
Really, Wraith?
I guess it's a good historical recount. It seems a bit presumtuous to me though. |
Re: My album
I'm using Vladikus' GUI mode. I tweaked it some myself. IIRC I even shared the finished results in his mod thread.
Foodstamp, thanks for the tip. I'll follow up on this as soon as I can (in the weekend probably). Lingchih, What are you talking about?- Whatever it is, let it be clear that this is by no way a historical recount. For that I have the full set of turns of every game I ever played :D |

Re: My album
Improper? That AAR looks great! I wish it was in English.

Re: My album
Yes. It does look awesome and I chime in with Ich wishing it were in English.
|
Re: My album
I got a translate button offering English - which wasn't bad...
|
Re: My album
Google translator fails.

Re: My album
Keep in mind that if your goal is to take pictures....
You can load the game with higher graphic settings than you would normally play in just to view the battles and get a better shot. And there are some useful keypresses in Battle View. http://dom3.servegame.com/wiki/Hotkey Such as 1 thru 9 for how detailed the view is. And the "n" key to advance the battle turn by turn. TIP: Set the image quality to minimum with the 1 (one) key in order to speed up looking around and getting camera angles just right. Then use the space bar to pause it. THEN hit the 9 (nine) key to set the images to their highest quality before snapping the picture. FUN: Use the "U" key to add your pretender to the image. Then use Paint (or some other paint program) to add a text balloon making him comment. Something like "I TOLD you to use SWARM! But NOooooo! You know better. You are SO getting a Fever Fetish when you get home!" |
Re: My album
Krec, I'm looking forward to seeing your pics.
GP: your tip is so cool. I wish I knew that before but I'll make sure to use when taking future pics. Common Dimaz give me some epic battle in Sharivar :p Oh and if you arrange for me to win then all the better :D |
Re: My album
how do you change the camera view again?

You need to put the pictures in your public folder. Here is the directions as listed in the public folder: The Public Folder lets you easily share single files in your Dropbox. Any file you put in this folder gets its own Internet link so that you can share it with others-- even non-Dropbox users! These links work even if your computer’s turned off. Step 1: Drop a file into the Public folder. Step 2: Right-click/control-click this file, then choose Dropbox > Copy Public Link. This copies the Internet link to your file so that you can paste it somewhere else. That's it! You can now share this file with others: just paste the link into e-mails, instant message conversations, blogs, etc.! If you'd like more help with sharing files, head here: http://www.getdropbox.com/help/16 Happy Dropboxing! - The Dropbox Team Note: You can only link to actual files within your Public Folder, not to folders. --------------------------------------------------------- So you can't share the folder, but you can share the pictures, meaning you can populate online photo albums from the folder. I hope that helps! |

Hey you know what's fun, is The Looming Hell.
Oh man I have a lot of fun screenshots I would kind of like to share. |
Re: My album
Pardon my ignorance but what is a .mov file?- My vista machine doesn't seem to know what to do with it.
|
Re: My album
QuickTime video, basically the same as AVI except Apple is behind it. A totally arbitrary choice of wrapper format on my part (I could have used AVI, I mean). If you wish to pursue viewership of my short film concerning the life and love of one looming devil, then try uh a QuickTime browser plugin or something? I dunno, I use Media Player Classic in Windows (XP), and stuff seems to just work; VLC also plays lots of things http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
