questions about the Interface + Shortcuts
I remember there was a way to "save" the battle setup for a commander and then "paste" it on top of another commander, in case you want several commanders to act the same. What was the shortcut again ?
In addition, are there any more easy and/or useful shortcuts ? |

1 Attachment(s)
Control + number (1 to 0) : save orders
Shift + number (1 to 0) : load orders In fact here is the hotkey PDF. |
Re: questions about the Interface + Shortcuts
In addition, my pretender got feebleminded. Im EA Yomi. What would be the best way to fix him up ?

Re: questions about the Interface + Shortcuts
A healer, which means fairy queen for you. or the Chalice, an artifact. Which you can't forge with your national mages. Or the spell gift of health.

What was the shortcut to put a commander on repeat cast ritual ?
|
Re: questions about the Interface + Shortcuts
left click on commander card (so as to have it white), then shift + m. You know you have it right when ritual window pops up. They also have a little (monthly) next to their order.

Re: questions about the Interface + Shortcuts
Thanks a bunch.

Re: questions about the Interface + Shortcuts
You don't actually need to do shift+# to load the orders onto a commander. Simply highlighting the orders button, then pressing the key will suffice.

Re: questions about the Interface + Shortcuts
Alot of the shortcuts are just capital letters, but people say shift+p (capital P for (P)atrol) for instance.
Gandalf posted a link to a list somewhere, if I find it I'll put I'll link to it here. You can get to most of it by pressing "?" |

Re: questions about the Interface + Shortcuts
Battle replay
Home - camera angle up End - camera angle down Is it true? |
Re: questions about the Interface + Shortcuts
Is there a way to set a commander on "repeat order" for forging ?
|
Re: questions about the Interface + Shortcuts
Camera Angles: true
Commander monthly forging: not with the game itself but you can create a hotkey for it using external programs such as AutoHotKey |
Re: questions about the Interface + Shortcuts
The Hotkey article on the Dom3Wiki is complete. All hotkeys that exist for the strategic map and battle replay are in there, including a few special ones that weren't supposed to be common knowledge (check the "Debug Console" section). There aren't any other "hidden" or undocumented ones.

Re: questions about the Interface + Shortcuts
Well except for some that are often asked about such as using tab to hide researchers
|
Re: questions about the Interface + Shortcuts
One last question.
Is there a known way to put a COMMANDER recruit on repeat, i.e. recruit priest or a site-unique commander each month without the need to do it manually ? You can stack only one recruit. |
Re: questions about the Interface + Shortcuts
One shortcut I discovered by accident and couldn't find in the manual or in the wiki: Pressing tab on the army setup screen will hide all commanders set to research. Sorry if it is really obvious, but I've found it to be pretty useful...
edit: wooops, Gandalf had mentioned it in his post above. Nevermind guys. |
Re: questions about the Interface + Shortcuts
Commander Recruit Key:
Afraid not. No in-game key for it. Same answer as the previous one about setting a forge command. You can use an external keypress programming program to do it. Something like AutoHotKey |
Re: questions about the Interface + Shortcuts
I need help. I pushed some button and what happened is that the commander-window (map, left side) zoomed up big time. Now i can only see 9 commanders max. I dont know how to revert it..
thanks. |
