Falkland War Campaign - Scenario 4
 

Hello

I am playing Falkland War Campaign. I have reached scenario 4, the last one. It is a bit strange for two reasons.
First - I am left thousands of support points, and I think it wasn't the idea of this campaign design.
Second - during the deployment all my troops start in LCA barges. On land.

Can you send me that save game ? If you have the end of scenario 3 saved separately that would be great as well.

I have all the campaings broken down into their individual scenarios and #4 should start with the British in the upper left of the map dug in

The troops are in the upper left, but not dug in, but in LCAs.

Did you purchase the LCA's at some point or were they provided ?

I waited 15 minutes for that website to load with the attachment and then gave up waiting. Zip up the save game files and post them on this forum. The process to do so is dead simple

Please forget about the mediafire files.
I will provide the right ones tomorrow directly to the forum (temporary I don't have the Internet at home).

I haven't bought anything for scenario 4, and an the support buy list they were absent. They have appeared at the deployment screen as part of the core platoons.

I think I see the problem but it's odd nobody else has mentioned this before . I *KNOW* it's been played before so perhaps it's a change we've made to the code that has set this off. This is what we mean by " spin off effects" of other code changes

The map for that sceanrio shows it to be a beach landing map and that can cause the game to buy LC's. I'll run further tests this week

That was it. On an uncorrected scenario four file I also was issued LC. Rebuilding the campaign with a corrected scenario four map solved the problem.

ATTACHED are the files needed to correct this. They will be issued in the next patch but anyone wanting to fix their game now can extract these to your Campaigns folder.

If you have the end of game three saved this will allow you to play sceanrio 4 without a problem. If you saved after starting game 4 you may be out of luck for this fix working as the LC would already be saved on the map

I have tested it; works fine. Thank you.
I still have had thousands of support points, but I just ignored it. Maybe if I started the campaign once again it would be different.

I'll look into the support point issue some time in the fall. There shouldn't be any at all so for now just don't use them.
