My God is dead
Hi all.
If my God is dead in a battle with some afflictions, when he return with my priest (praying) he return with this afflictions or no?. Thnks all |
Re: My God is dead
From what I remember, a pretender who is called back returns with the afflictions, but there is also a chance of some of them being removed. And of course he also looses 1 from all his magic paths (doesn't affect blessing).
Don't quote me on the affliction part though. Just remembered reading it from somewhere. |
Re: My God is dead
I'm pretty sure anytime someone returns from death, they have a chance of healing afflictions (immortals, twice-born, forced shape-shifts, etc)

Did anybody test this twice-born effect or is it all hearsay? |
Re: My God is dead
I think I've seen it, but that qualifies as hearsay. Call God does have a healing chance.
I'd assumed that any of the "recover from being killed" options have the chance. You're too likely to wind up with crippling afflictions from your "death" otherwise. |
Re: My God is dead
Perhaps it is different for pretenders. They do get strange benefits.

Re: My God is dead
I assumed that all of those actions gave the unit one free successful heal check to each affliction. Witch might or might not heal the affliction.

Re: My God is dead
I've watched an AI god get killed over and over and over (I owned his home province and the AI kept calling him back to promptly die again.) He consistently had a few afflictions (generally 4-5) but they would tend to change over time.
