N00b game on llamserver.net we need 6 more players

Hello, the title pretty much explains it all :) We're setting up a n00b game on llamaserver.net. It's called "kathmandont" it's EA and we're using the shahrivar map with CBM 1.9. Any1 up for it?

I think most people looking for MP games here tend to look in the sub-forums section devoted to it:

http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/forumdisplay.php?f=145

If you look in there you'll also find a lot of examples of posts & the kinds of details people usually include for their game settings and whatnot. The more details you can give people about your game, the better a sense potential players will have of if they want to join your game. Also makes you seem all organized and on top of things if you can tell people what your game settings are. ;)

Valerius' "Myth" a good example of succinct settings post:

iRFNA's "SeaOfInnocence" a good example of long form game thread post:
http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=47172

Wraithlords' "DHG - Deadhouse Gates" another good example of above, w/ theme / backstory stuff:

Reserve me a spot of possible but I need more info, as Hrum said. This would be my first MP game, so I think I qualify nicely as a noob.

@Hrum
Thanks. I feel stupid for starting a thread here now :doh:

@Jiggymike
The game is Early Age on the "Sharivar" map and uses CBM 1.9 so far we have 2 players (not including you). Income/Prod?Supply are all set to 150%. Random Events are common and Victory is by victory points. as I'm new to MP too I'm not quite sure how victory points work (for example how many you get when you capture a capital? should i enable cumulative vps... etc. The manual was not forthcoming on my queriesi may need to change the game settings) I think the other player may want to be Abysia and i'll probably choose Lanka.
I hope that's concise :)

The best thing to do now would just be to make a thread on the "Multiplayer and AARs" subforum for people to sign up to.

Yes it will get more hits in the multiplayer forum. However since I was already here I'll take Acroscephale.

Hey guys. Provided this is still the right thread for this game, I'll join in. I'll take T'ien Ch'i. I'm currently playing as them in another game (my very first MP game) and already realizing some stuff I could have done better concerning pretender design and scales and whatnot.

By the way, how does "YARG3 Conceptual Balance Complete 1.92" differ from "Conceptual Balance Complete 1.92"?

Basically it's a slightly modified version made specially for the game "YARG3", so not important if you're not playing in that game.

This game seems to be getting bogged down and I got into another one, so I'm unfortunately going to drop out. I have some things to do this week but I am considering starting a noob game of my own towards the end of it, so look for a thread in the Multiplayer sub-forum.

Re: N00b game on llamserver.net we need 6 more players

I am going to bow out of this one as well, since the llamaserver shows it as having a weird version of the CBM mod and it seems to be taking awhile to get together.
