I understood there was some connexion issues with the original Cradle of Dom, so I would prefer using Edi's Fix -version of the map?

After watching carefully the list on Llama's server i didn t find any Fix version of the map by Edi. Is it on Llamaserver?
@Cool_hc: It depends if we go on a 11 fixed position map, in that case no. Otherwise i don't think it will be a problem to run this map with 12 players. Atm i put you on the waiting list. |

I found an other version of the map with 11 lands hand placed so it s perfect ! That means Cool_hc can join and we can expect a balanced game with starting position.

And lets not forget as well, Cradle is a HUGE map. Even with 12 players we're all still going to get (IF all goes right for everyone!) 16 provinces each without having to fight even yet.
Unless, ya know, you're aggressive or something. Dear RNG, place me near a placid opponent, or if aggressive, one I may smash under hordes of maenads. |

I would still recommend Edi's Fix. Chances are the map at Llama actually is the fixed version, thou...

Since the fix is quite old i think it s the latest version on llamaserver.
And btw the fix concerns mostly the nostart province settings which is already solved if we play with fixed started. I don't mind to pick the map you mention Anaconda, but if we do so we lose the starting locations on the current version who actually match perfectly our need. |

Okay, so with that said, i will be very clear that if anyone breaks a treaty with me in this game i will not consider it representative of their behavior in any other game or a mark upon their character but rather just an element of playing this 'anything goes' game.

A question about pretenders and mods -- I created my pretender without activating the Streamers mod, will that make any difference?
If I find myself starting with a Manticore with W3S1B1 and Misfortune-3 Drain-3 I'll let you know ;-> |

Thank-you- our air gem requirements have been met.
Also- i would ask that even though we are supposed to be 'relentless' pretenders, we take a small break over the thanksgiving holidays (if i am the only player playing from america maybe not- but otherwise i think this is a good idea). Basically, i would like to make the period from wednesday (Nov 23) night to tuesday (Nov 29) night one big turn. Personally i am traveling and visiting family and i am sure i am not the only one. |

Is there some others people who want this break ? i think if we have 2 mores peeps who need it we will have it, otherwise Immaculate as managed to find a sub for his nation.

Hmmmm, Wed to Tues is kinda long, but then, getting a sub is a major pain too. Immaculate, any chance you can get a turn in Sunday evening? I wouldn't mind a shorter break at all, but I'd rather tolerate a longer break than the mess of trying to get a sub on short notice.

Hmmm, how long does it take llamaserver to run a turn? I submitted my turn half an hour ago, but the server hasn't generated a new turn yet.

I meant immaculate has already a sub, that's why it s not a prob i guess especially that early in the game.
Sometimes the server get slow, he prolly need a reboot. |

yeah, i can find a sub- but he's busy and 36h turns might be tough on him-especially saturday night- he's got rugby.... maybe make it 56h turn on saturday?
