Scenarios for the next upgrade
I now have time to take submissions of scenarios for inclusion in the next patch. If you have posted them on these forums I will need them gathered together in one zip. Don't worry about the slot number, I will sort that out when I get them. Please zip them up then post them to this thread by March 14th at the latest. Due to the large number of data changes changes to the OOB's this time around there is a 50/50 chance they will need adjustments and I will do that once I have them. This will ensure any scenario you submit will be fully compatible with the next patch when it is released. Please don't wait until the last minute. The sooner I get them the sooner I can sort them out and make any correction and that gets the next patch out sooner for everyone so aiming for this Sunday would be "a good thing" Thanks Don |

Here is the scenario OP Medusa and it's map file. I had been working on this one for a few years off and on. When the last patch came out I decided to go back and redraw the map using the new desert buildings and include IEDs and suicide bombers. I used bocage hedgerows to model the maze of adobe walled compounds in this area. This works well for playability. I was once in 1RCR and personally know some of the soldiers who took part in this battle.

I should note that I'm not sure whether the enclosed scenarios 250 (Danish Road Trip) and 249 (The Mercedes Benz Werke) were included in the last patch since I don't know where the official patch scenarios end and add on scenarios and/or testbed scenarios begin in my copy of the game. Wanted to give you a heads up to the possibility so as to avoid the repeat postings that I caused during the last patch.

Danish Road Trip is scenario 245 in the game. Mercedes Benz Werke sounds familiar but so far I haven't found it Don |

I love the Mercedes Benz Werke scenario and hope it makes it into the next patch for all to enjoy.:up:
I modded this one up to the year 1989,to take advantage of the M2A2 Bradley and the results are fun for the Nato soldier. I've also taken it back to 1976 and that one isn't so much fun for the same side. Much tougher.:o |

After review of the scenario design, I've reduced the number of minefields to 1, thus, if this scenario remains under consideration for inclusion in the next patch, include the attached scenario as I believe it makes for better gameplay.
