Another challenging and fast paced game for experienced players.
Since i have been badly screwed in my previous game by starting positions, i decided to set them manually this time. You can find them in the picture attached to the post.

*Copying Bogus' orders and overfilling enemy lab to prevent his own forge.
*Probing armies with scouts/commanders must be done in such a way so as not to block movement.

Please do not apply if you are planning to be away for a week or more in a row in the next couple months.

Id like to join this game as Arcoscephale. Ive never played on the shrapnel forums before, ive played all my games on the something awful forums, so if there are any rules I should be aware of please let me know!

Edit: Does no diplomacy mean that we cant talk to other players with the ingame messaging system, or that we cant chat with them anywhere (irc, forums, email)?

- You can post in this message thread that you wish to make a trade. For example:

"Caelum wants air gems - willing to trade equal amount of other gems!"

If someone reply then you go ahead and make the trade.

You have joined so far 3 of my games and have been missing in all 3. So no, i prefer to wait for some1 else.

All settings comes from the server, you don't need the .map file.

Alright, that's easy to understand. I left many games in a bad manner for big real life hassles a while back, but I won't make excuses because I should have handled that a lot better. I hope to mend that broken reputation over time. Have a good game then.

You guys still looking for a 9th player? I'm a good player and would join. My reservation is the "No Diplomacy" rules. If some players are friends in real life, then 'No Diplomacy' basically means only friends communicate. This leaves a lot of uncertainty for the sceptics....like me.

Concerning the no diplo i'll set a vote. In fact the no diplo stuff was orignally to avoid what you describe earlier Yellowcactus.

So let the vote begin and see if no diplo can get the majority.

I suggest we stick with no diplo, that was the original setting. Makes little sense to change it after the game has started.

I thought I had...I have to do my turns at work at present, and its a rush sometimes. My internet was supposed to be connected at home by this time But I am still waiting on it.

Oh man don't say that, i haven't stand more than 5 turns previous game lol !)

Well i will listen to others until the game reach turn 5-6.
If there is a draw like it is now (1-1) i'll say it's a no diplo since we started with this status.

Otherwise i'll set as the majority want.
