M6 Heavy Tank Icon set 1.1
1 Attachment(s)
Here is the US M6 Heavy Tank icon set. The first true US heavy tank. It was produced in limited numbers but never sent to the front lines for combat. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it. I added the M6A2E1 to the set.

Re: M6 Heavy Tank Icon set 1.0
Oh yeah, the M6A2E1! Forgot about that thing. Considering I am about to start the T29, I should probably build a M6A2E1 first and add it to this set. Thank you for the reminder Mark.
But, like I posted, never sent to the front lines. You like the set? |

Beautiful work Oragus. Thanks.

Thank you and you are welcome, I enjoy sharing my work for others to use in their games.

Re: M6 Heavy Tank Icon set 1.0
The set's pretty good. I can't wait to see your other heavies. I tried making some heavies long ago, but they were pretty drab.

I'll do my best Mark. Still chipping off the rust.

We've had prior M6 Heavy tanks, but they're unattributable; either due to being done by someone whose name was lost to the mists of time; or being done for SPWAW Enhanced (Not familiar with the icons over there, and who did what over there).

Re: M6 Heavy Tank Icon set 1.0
I added the M6A2E1 to the set. The updated M6 Heavy Tank Icon set 1.1.zip file is at the beginning of this thread.

Re: M6 Heavy Tank Icon set 1.0
I have seen the M6A1 icon before but not the SPWAW icon. But, I decided a long time ago I was going to create the US Heavy Tanks after your Kitty Killers thread. I have had it Bookmarked in my browser for years. Lol

Very nice materials. Thank you for sharing.

Re: M6 Heavy Tank Icon set 1.0
So had he accepted them they could have been in service in November 1944
OK..duly noted....... but that would be the ungunned 105mm version The question now is which of these others would have been ready before the end of 1946 without distorting reality too far |
Re: M6 Heavy Tank Icon set 1.0
The probable truth is none of all the countries USA did not just put things into production & it would have to be shipped.
Germany, Russia or Britain they might have come to fruition but with the USA it really is a what if in my view. |
