Stupid trivia questions

With everyone waiting for their Gold order, it's time for some stupid trivia questions:

1) Which SEIV threads have the most Posts? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif

2) Who is the oldest SEIV player? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon6.gif (Doesn't have to be a board poster; can be someone you know.)

3) Who is the youngest SEIV player? (My one son was 6 when he first tried. He got beat and lost patience. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon8.gif )

4) Who spends the most time playing/modding? (Not me! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif )

5) Who has played the longest at one stretch? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/shock.gif

6) Who knows Aaron's middle name? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/confused.gif

5) I don't know if anyone can beat this, but I gave one of my friends SEIII on a friday night and when he came into school monday morning he looked all trashed, when I asked him what he did all weekend he said he couldn't stop playing SEIII.

He had done this with several other games so it wasn't really a suprise.

4) I'd have to say Aaron spends the most time modding http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif But, I'd say Hadrian and SJ are close seconds!

Those were meant to be two separate questions. I meant oldest according to date of birth. Anybody know of a player older than 50? 60? 70??? 80?!?!?

In the How Old Are You? thread, the oldest age mentioned was 72.

I dunno' if it qualifies as 'playing' but my 2 year old loves to watch tactical combat. I don't play tactical anymore (too much advantage over the AI) but for him, I set up battles and tac 'em...

What does he prefer? Missiles, projectiles, or beams?

quote:
I don't play tactical anymore (too much advantage over the AI) but for him, I set up battles and tac 'em

You can do tactical combet, just toggle on the "auto" turns, and you get to see real combat, close up, as it happens http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif .

Exactly what i do. I always turn the Tactical Combat and press AUTO. I like to watch the battles myself. I do not do it when, for example, i attack a planet, a single primitive ship against my fleet etc.

I'm sure you have thought of this,
For his entertainment and practice with "Strategy" settings for you.The simulator would be ideal.

Actually, he prefers the WMG's of SEIII - remember that sound they made - he loves the sound, but from SEIV he likes the beam weapons - more color...

Never thought of the auto for him - I usually will do that if I slip and click Tac (instead of Strat( by mistake...

PS. Its kinda funny, but as long as Ive been playing SEIV, I've never used the simulator. I used to use it in SEIII all the time. I guess maybe I'll give it a whirl...
