I played "The Crossing Sweepers" campaign and noticed that all units had SS-flags instead "normal" swastika flag:eek:... Where is that *.shp file that uses it and how I add them into Battle Generator instead swastika?

This was changed by the campaign designer because they are SS units

BUT... if you really want to revert to " normal" then....

When you get to the deploy units screen press ; then press 0 ( zero ) then press change all.......that assumes you have the CD version of the game

Ok thanks about info Don. I have only d/l'd version, so I must accept swastika as default... No big deal anyway. Just asking;).

It’s not a swastika it’s white on black SS runes which is historical correct for this campaign.

I'm just guessing here but I think he wants to see the SS flag on the start up screen........

Yep. It could be cool feature able to use SS runes instead swastika when you play with SS units:)...

That flag is taken from the main nation...... that nation is Germany and that is the flag you get for Germany from September 1935 and as I said... that is not going to change

Is it just me or is the second battle the same map from battle 1?

That is correct, it is the same map and that was intended, it represents two of the battles fought over the same terrain.

As a casual gamer, I played the original titles back in the days too.
But this was many years ago, I even bought all versions at that time up to I believe it was some brigade command version of the game.

And then years later bought these 2 games again(spww2, spmbt) on Shrapnel games.

Since about a week took them from under the dust and again playing them.

Still very good games after so many years and it certainly has its nostalgia!

Its in the CD extended features section of the Game Guide near the end of that section. Search the GG for "This is the entire list of 124".

It's the second to last thing in the Game Guide and includes a list and a graphic

Here's a little side note:

Played through The Crossing Sweepers but exchanged the Frundsberg units for a reduced Swedish Armoured Brigade (1943 org) by making it an Open Core campaign.

When it was over I didn't want to quit so I added a few of the other Frundsberg Normandy stock scenarios to the campaign to extend it a little longer. I reworked some scenarios that did not have Germany as player 1. Just for fun. Extended the map of an early Cean scenario to max size. Bought some extra units and gave the Allied AI player plenty of air too. Maybe I should not have done that...:ham:

The Shermans are basically Tigers to the Swedish 37mm and short 75mm peashooters.

I had intended to play longer but set rules for myself that I would only go on with captured kit and took such losses that this half brigade of mine is mostly burnt out now...

This is an example of how powerful the editing options are in this game, and not too time consuming either - note though that an improvised extension of an existing campaign like I did here will not be balanced...:smirk:
