Here's the scoop.

5000 race points
small galaxy ( THE TYPE WILL BE A SURPRISE ie i will roll the dice so I don't know)
No Intel
ALL Research
Max units, Max ships
1.67 gold patch 1
10 planets
start in same system
NO AI
Auto set at 3 days. ( Summer is coming)
Role Playing is a must.
See scores on treaty.

What I need from you

1. Who's playing
2. When you would like to start

I am hoping for 10 people but the more the merrier

If you say your in here your spot is reserved.

If I have time I will make the story line.

If not it will be written as we play.

By "ALL Research" do you mean starting with all techs?

Tesco, you left out the no intel in your description on PBW. It's not that big a deal but some people (me http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif ) might have missed this thread and first saw the game on PBW.

Hey I got alot of AI errors from some of the shipsets when I started the game. Is there anything I can do about that?

delete all the txt files from the non stock alien ship sets... some of them are not seiv gold style...that will clean them up

It really is too bad that we cant save the state of a simul game so I can spend a 1/2 hour here and a 1/2 hour there on this... Guess I will just have to leave SEIV running all of the time with my turn 1/2 way completed.

check each directory and make sure there are no *.txt files in them. You may have missed one.

Your running the patch right ??

With only 100 planets !!!!!!!!!!!! SO you have to attack to expand.

And yes it is very busy. I know 5 races and it is only turn 1

I suggest in the next game that all alliances and trades be disallowed. With only 100 planets and no trades you would really have a chance to test your stratigic skills.

Some updates for the non players of small universe.

Turn 4 and combat has begun.

I will not say who. but it can be read on the game forum at pbw.

I have also noticed some different strageties.

Which one will win in the end I do not know.

One person went colony.
2 people went base yards
2 people went ships

the others i do not know.

Small universe needs a replacement player.

The empire in question is in the top 10 in scoring.
They have not lost any planets.

And the game is early...
