Season\'s Greetings
Christmas Cheer and a Happy New Year to everyone! : ) : ) : )
The best of everything to those who may be leaving early for parts unknown! : ) And the best to those of us (hiccup) who remain (hiccup) and may be seli...cili...sylebrat...oh hell, partying early. : ) http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif (tbontob passes out cold) |
Re: Season\'s Greetings
Hey guys...I really do wish you the best of the season. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
But no response, at all? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/confused.gif Was it in bad taste? Let me say a few things first: 1) I have never passed out cold! 2) I have never even been falling down drunk! 3) I have been what may be termed "mildly intoxicated" on two occasions, once in my home and once while entertaining a valued client. 4) I have never been a risk to anyone except for the time I entertained my client and drove home in my vehicle. This was in the 70's before the breathalizer tests and the .08 limit. And while it was more or less "acceptable" at the time to drive in such a condition, it was not the appropriate thing to do. 5) I am what may be called a "social" drinker". I can drink it, but I do not need it. Often, I am the driver to take people home from parties. So guys, I was only having fun. Just funning around. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif If it was in bad taste, all I can say is that I have read stuff that was much, much worse on this site and people ran with it. That is they had fun with it. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif And while I do not advocate heavy drinking, I do not condemn the ones who do it occasionally, for it is a personal choice. My feelings though are different if the person is addicted to it, drives under the influence or where it affects relationships negatively. But I really do wish you guys the best of the season. You are a great bunch! |

Tbontob, did you see my new entry in the story thread? Not much new, just some historical information for the future. [ December 20, 2002, 14:12: Message edited by: Ruatha ] |
Re: Season\'s Greetings
Hi guys! See you are imbibing Christmas cheer! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif
Ruatha, I saw it and am in deep contemplation of the Zax Society response. This is a critical time in the development of the story and I must have all my faculties about me! So, I am going to give it my full and divided attention. (Hic!) Oops! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif |

Re: Season\'s Greetings
Indeed! and: Hear, Hear! I hope everyone has a good time celebrating your solstice festival of choice, or has a good time being a bitter non-celebraty-type-person.
Enjoy the holiday, the brisk weather, get blitzed, and pass out with a friend! |

Re: Season\'s Greetings
Cheers to all. Despite any customary or commercial influences, and no matter what you celebrate...
You just can't argue with the fact it's nice to unselfishly wish others well and maybe throw in a small gift here and there. May you be surprised with a shiny new Battle Cruiser with PPBs under the tree! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif |
Re: Season\'s Greetings
Have a happy holiday, everyone. Don't spend ALL of it playing SEIV, working on mods, and reading and posting in this forum; spend time with your family and friends, too! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif Wish you all a fun and happy holiday and best wishes for the new year. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Re: Season\'s Greetings
Best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral, winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most joyous traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, but with respect for the religious persuasion of others who choose to practice their own religion as well as those who choose not to practice a religion at all; plus A fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the generally accepted Calendar year 2003, but not without due respect for the Calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions have helped make our society great, without regard to the race, creed color, religious, or sexual preferences of the wishes. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif

Re: Season\'s Greetings
That's a very politically correct greeting!
