Has any one else noticed that this forums membership has more than doubled in the Last year?

My god that is impressive to say the least. From around 1600 members a year ago to more than 3800 now. Way to go Shrapnel.

Yes, but only in the Last month. Forum membership had doubled in the time frame Atrocities is talking about before MOO3 came out.

At least I have the chance to visit this site while I'm at work. If not, I don't even want to think about it. But I should be getting my new computer soon, so I can then start visiting this site at night and on weekends.

Granpa Kim, I'm in the same postion. I leave for a short time and then everything I was reading goes away... fortuneately it is replaced by additional reading material. So I really dont mind, I just try to keep out of long conversations. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

WEll, excuse me. Maybe I've mentioned my computer problems more often than I thought, but you'll be glad to know as of tomorrow I'll be getting a new one and won't be saying that again. I didn't realize I was "ranting", just bemoaning the fact that I was computerless and couldn't play this great game. And,hey, what's wrong with Albert Einstein? I think that's a great pic, considering the choice of avatars. And as far as my handle, just chalk that up to laziness, because that's most of my e-mail address, and I didn't feel like making up a new handle at the time.

Sort of OT from what this thread was about in the first place, but it's the case of another, "did you notice this?" type of thing.

Did you notice that if you take your star rating system in your profile, you no longer show up on the "recent visitors" bar? I noticed this when Fyron took his rating system off, ever since then he hasn't shown up in the recent visitors section even though I know he's on the forums. Rags, I haven't had my Ratings 'active' for a long time. As far as I can tell, I still show up in the 'recent visitors' list, so I suspect it's probably something else, like maybe he just doesn't log-out any more!
