I always do this. I get in a bunch of games cause early on they all move quick and I feel like I have time for more. Then they get later and things start backing up. Now it's worse cause things at my job are starting to hit the fan and I am really busy. So I am looking for replacments in all my games. That's right, all of them. I won't drop out of any, so if I can't find replacments I'll keep playing but if you are interested in taking over an empire or two let me know.

I have empires of differing quality to choose from. Several early in games that could be given your own stamp, a couple in the mid game where I have a decent sized empire and not much going on. I even have a couple that are late in the game and I fairly low in food chain. Still viable empires and possibly could be turned around given an emperor of sufficent skill and interest. I have games that run every day, and games that do a couple turns a week if we are lucky.

And I even have a spot in the PBW open tournament. For anyone that didn't get to join that and wanted too you can have that and play the rest of round one and all of round two which hasn't started yet.

P.S. I am not going anywhere. I am still going to be game owner in a bunch of games and I will still be active as a PBW admin and in the forums here. I just need to cut back on the actual games.

It's a "concept" game. Puke's Mail order Monsters. we have several human players tyring to locate each other and cooperate agaisnt some terrible AI monsters. Not much has happened yet I haven't found any mosters yet, and just met my first human player Last turn.

I haven't done in PBW before. Would picking up one of your games be a good learning experience?

Loser: maybe you should start with some newbie game instead of one of Geo.

I'm in several games but the only one that seems to ber moving is 20 24 where I'm on the verge of asking you to mark me dead.
I'd like to join another 1-a-day game. Preferably one with the stock game and standard settings. Not necesarily a just started game or one where you're the top score, butone with a somehow viable empire to keep playing for a while.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I've never been very comfortable with the idea of joining a newbie game. I feel I am quite experienced with the game itself and it feels as though it would be awfully unfair, despite the fact that the toughest opponent I have faced was named Jitwick. Not that beating an AI is anything about which to brag, but I'd rather the advantage of experience lay with the other guy. I suspect the first few experiences will be much more valuable that way.

Anyway, if he'll give me one, fine. And if he doesn't, also fine.

Thanks, Geo, I've already taken over from you in the Mail-Order Monsters game.

Side-note: one thing that annoys me about the PBW webserver is that it doesn't support resuming downloads and doesn't let me know the size of the file I'm downloading. This could be an issue for someone like me who's on dial-up.
