problem with map making

I've made a custom map but am encountering one problem. When I edit a planet and do things like, say, change its resource vales or the planet's size it seems to change back to whatever it was originally when I load the map (yes, I did save it).

Any idea what the problem is?

if you change the planets size you have to pick a new pic. at least, in non-gold.

Did you complete the edit window and go back to the map screen BEFORE saving the file? The map file only updates upon exiting the edit section.
