Odd Happenings

Many of you more than likely have had something simular to this happen to you. Your parents move, and need a place to stay for a while while their new home is being built. You have the extra room so you say sure, come on over and stay. Then you come home in the afternoon and plan on watching Girls Gone Wild or something equally obnoxious from your friends DVD collection only to discover that your Grandmother is watching the Lone Ranger.

Now just savor the shows theme music for a while.

Well, it certainly could have been much worse. Can you say, "Golden Girls"? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

Naw, the worst would be if you walked in and your Grandma was watching Girls gone Wild.

Sounds like a good time to get out of the house and do something outside...

Geo, if that happened I would immediately make sure I wasn't a walk-on for either 'The Exorcist II' or a remake of 'The Twilight Zone'. Then I'd wash my eyes out with bleech and go see a shrink.

Not that I didn't like my grandmothers, they we're interesting women. But they've been dead for over 10 years now...

I could just see the headlines now.

Girls Gone Wilds kills elderly women in grandsons home. The pervert left the DVD out and his elderly grandmother mistook it for a rerun of Matlock. See Page 5.

On page 5 they have a nice distorted b&w mug shot of me from 20 years ago.

NOOOOOOooooooooooooooo Thanks.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Went and chopped wood all day. As payment, was given DVD to watch. Could not refuse or be branded as sissy boy. Came home, smelling of pine, with DVD in hand.

"Oh hey whats that in your hand?"
"A DVD."
"Looks more like a smut book to me."
"Oh hey look the Lone Ranger is on."
